It definitely does seem like just the other day we were all excited to be able to say we're going to have our babies next month. Now we're going to be able to say THIS month. Well, hopefully anyway, for the ones (like me as well) due towards the end of the month!

Oh gosh, I am due the 21st and am terrified of going so overdue that she comes in May. I want her to be an April baby!

I'm not ready!!!!! Where on earth has March gone? I am going to have to check my hospital bag today and get Baby H's bag ready. We're moving next week (possibly this weekend) so I need to make sure everything is all sorted, can't imagine DH trying to go through boxes and suitcases when I go into labour! I am fairly sure we have most things but I just don't feel ready to be responsible for a baby, despite being 27 years old, not sure I ever will feel ready! My EDD is 27 April so I am another one hoping that I don't go overdue

Hello! Happy due month to you all x

Me and Dee are looking for a temporary home! My LO will potentially not be born until 14th April!!! That's depressing.

I was due on 28th March according to my 12 week scan, but due 3rd April according to my dates. Really hoping my LO shows up before Fri 10th as my Dad is going back to Australia then and will miss giving her cuddles

Well a busy couple of days here, I was meant to be having my 36 week home visit today but on tues I phoned the mw to say I'd only had 2-3 movements in 24 hours so she came out to listen in and did my home visit then.. Baseline of 140bpm heard with good variability and an acceleration heard after a movement so, all reassured, she went home again. By yesterday afternoon though I'd only had 2 more movements so I had to go to Day Assessment where they strapped me onto a ctg machine that also sets a criteria for how many movements you should get along with baseline, variability, accelerations/decelerations - at that point she went absolutely mental and I met the crieteria within 10 minutes (!) and she averaged 288 movements an hour over that 10 minutes.. She's a horror!!!! So we came home again and, thankfully, she's staying put a bit longer yet!

Must order cot mattresses, must must must...

well I like the "sound" of an April birthday better if you know what I mean - although apparently april babies (well aries ones at least) are very demanding so we'll have to see! I already have a fiesty 3yr old!

just not very impressed to be overdue - sods law really as everyone was convinced I was going to be early!

Woo! Hopefully my baby will come this month! I'm due 24th so I suppose I could go as late as 8th May. I don't fancy an Aries baby so hoping baby hangs on until at least the 21st

My DH texted his colleague this morning to say he was at the hospital as I'd gone into labour as an April Fools joke - tut tut. Did make me laugh though as the fella fell for it!!

Haha I'm one too and I suspect that my parents found me a little, should we say... 'demanding' hehehe. I hope your LO doesn't keep you waiting much longer!! Have some labour dust

I'm really not surprised that Im not early... everyone was convinced of the same with me but it's just typical isn't it

My cervix was checked last friday and was 90% effaced but still high and posterior so they couldnt do a sweep - am booked in for one on Tuesday at 41+2 but theres no guarantee it'll be favourable then either

was your show a bloody one? I've been losing my plug for over a week now, but nothing other than snot for me which is depressing. My cervix was checked last friday and was 90% effaced but still high and posterior so they couldnt do a sweep - am booked in for one on Tuesday at 41+2 but theres no guarantee it'll be favourable then either

Nope just a lot of 'snot' as you described it but it was a lot... it made a 'plopping' sound when I went the toilet (Sorry TMI)... I'm also booked in for a sweep on wednesday and I'll be 40+6... hope it works for us both fingers crossed you come before hand though

Just been released from a hospital cell!!!

Went to ante-natal assessment unit on monday and they wouldn't let me home!! My BP was high and was having pretty heafty BH's. Took me down to maternity triage and had speculum to test to see if I was in labour...came back as negative. So admitted me for obs. Upped my BP meds twice while I was there and finally let me go last night. There were no other symptoms at all bar very erratically high BP readings!!
So back to see my consultant next thursday...day before I am 37 weeks.


So my feeling is that unless all hell lets loose this weekend/early part next week I will be induced.

So I guess now it's just sit n wait! Oh and try to catch up on here feel like I was away forever!!!

LOL...I'd also prefer a Taurus baby as I've had a couple of very close family members who are Aries and I do find them to be...difficult...in similar ways! LOL...love them to pieces though.

Taureans can be very stubborn too, though, being one of the ''fixed signs'' and all, lol.. there's pros and cons to them all eh?
