hey girls sorry for the delay on updating. miss kinleigh got admitted back to the hospital the drs seem to think that she has an infection. so we are here while while she gets IVs of antibiotics. I think I spent the whole day yesterday crying.

So sorry to hear that. I hope she gets well soon.

I think I have carpal tunnel syndrome? It's only one hand though. My right hand is slightly swollen and quite numb and sore. I woke up with the numbness, starting about halfway down my forearm. I thought maybe I had just slept funny but 3 hours later it's still here.

Getting seriously fed up with this pregnancy lark now.

Yeah mine's in my right hand too. I find it tough to hold onto stuff like a toothbrush etc. It's quite painful at night and keeps me up!

Nevermind, it's nearly over now and we almost have our babies!

Poor wee Kinleigh! I'm not surprised you spent the day in tears - Freya was admitted to hospital when she was about 3 weeks old, and seeing her with an IV nearly broke my heart.
Hope she gets better really soon.

I feel for you overdue mums. I went nearly two weeks over with Freya and that time was just miserable.
I'm so glad that can't happen this time!

I had a really random dream last night that I went to the loo and found masses and masses and masses of pink show and then my waters broke. It was so real I was really gutted when I woke up and realised it was a dream.. Sadly that was at 1am and it took until gone 4 to get back to sleep and then I only managed a couple more hours after that, yawn......

How's Miss Kinleigh doing?

She is doing well. All of her test came back saying that there was no infection. So we should be going home to day. At this point I'm really upset with a lot of doctors.

I'm glad you're on your way home again - were they thinking gbs infection or something were they? Better safe than sorry if she's looking like she had an infection - I know we start babies on IVABxs only for their cultures to come back negative (which takes longer than just a few hours unfortunately) but if they look like they've got an infection you can't really afford to wait for the cultures before starting the ABxs..

Sooo 12 boys and 16 girls so far! Can't believe we've had 28 births already and we're only 4 days into April. Mind you, we should average 8 births a day really so that's about right actually!

28 births?! Where the heck have I been? Last time I looked it was a lot lower than that. They're just flying out now, aren't they?

Well myself and my little April fools bubba are home and we are absolutely besotted, however I've felt over the last 9 months I would do again and a million times more for this little one! Congrats to all the other April mummies and good luck to all the April mummies to be x x x

I'm not enjoying myself either today, think might have to go into triage tomor, cos of this breathless and dizzy malarky! Not sure it's quite right, esp seeing as vision been going a bit funny and I just kinda don't feel right you know! Just another thing to deal with in top of it all, thank god I haven;t got carpel tunnel too, man to not be able to type on laptop crikey that wld be lifeline gone.

So Glad Kinleigh is doing well, will she be coming home again son then i no infection or will they finish off course anyway! Hugs to you and your family!
