***April Sweet Peas*** 204 Babies

I'm home from the hospital. I'll be on later to update everything. Thanks again girls and Congrats to everyone that had their babies. Welcome over overdue March Mommies/mummies. I'll add you to the front page too.

Hey,

My son is a taurus and he is a nightmare, Unfortunately I have two older cousins who are also taurus and I am trying sooo hard to avoid some of their characteristics coming out in my son.I would have preferred a aries, one of my good friends is an aries. However so is my brother and he's a pain in the arse! LOL SO I like arian women, but not so much men! haha!
ANyway I had hope this one would be an arian just to balence us out a bit but NOPE my induction is scheduled a day after my sons birthday! OH poo!

I've been loosing snot like plug for weeks now, not on a daily basis but in lumps thats plop down the toilet and come up on the tisse just now and again. And mines a greeny snot hmm how lovely, I know not infection as I have been swabbed etc. But I'm thinking it's not any closer to labour cos if it's been happening so much it must be growing back by now else i'd be 90% effaced and I dont' think I'm that far along n the process, just get the idea this one would rather stay put as long as possible!

Well I am Still preggers! I am starting to think this boy likes it in there and his big 9+ pound self is never coming out :(

Today is my hubbys birthday, would be a cool day to have a baby!

We had our meeting with the high risk perinatalogist today to discuss our birthing options. He feels we can try for a vaginal birth and not jump right to c-section which is what I wanted to hear. He does not think we should induce before 39 weeks though. I was really hoping to do it at 38 this week but we can't without an amnio or secondary medical reason and I cant see going through an amnio just to induce a few days sooner.

I am waiting for my phone to ring as I type this I called my regular dr and let them know what the perinatologist said and that I want to proceed with a 39 week induction and am waiting for them to call me back with HOPEFULLY an induction date. Hopefully baby boy decides to come on his own before then but an end date would be nice to have.

I'll update if/when they call back and I hope they can give me a date now and not make me wait until my appt monday with the dr to get one.

Ugh the nurse just called back and I have to wait to talk to the dr at my appt monday to schedule the induction. BLAH!

cant believe my little ended up a march baby hehe inpatient like her mummy hehe. gl 2 all the rest of the april mummys hope u r all lucky like i was and dont go 2 early or over due xx. the last few weeks of pregnancy r so uncomfy cant imagine going over 2 weeks

Babies, babies everywhere!!
Congrats to our newest mums. :hugs:

I am literally counting down the days till I join you (my Facebook status is currently "...10...")
I was born on Good Friday (many, many Easters ago...) and was secretly hoping something might have happened today. Guess it's not meant to be. Still, not too long to wait now.
I'm trying really hard not to complain anymore, but I am just so sick of being uncomfortable all the time, and not sleeping...

Hope you all have a lovely Easter. :hugs:

Awww.. you're lucky you see your baby in 10 days!!! Woohoo! I hope mine decides to come early. :haha: Good luck! xxx

Wow, Jaccib, that's quite an experience! Bet you're glad you're home for the time being. At least now you can mentally prepare for what's to come as it sounds like it was all pretty sudden when you went in. Glad all's ok though and they're ''on top of it''.

Tell me bout it..that wasn't the half of it though because my parents were on a coach on the way from cornwall up to stay for a few days when i got admitted on monday!!! My OH had to collect them and bring them straight to the hospital to see me!!! PLUS it was my dads birthday on the tuesday!!!! Great eh??? Not seen them for a year and was sooo fed up!

At least I got out to spend an evening with them! Mind you burst into tears when we walked off from the coach station to leave!

Oh well must concentrate on this one now!!

So many babies born already..! Congratulations to all the new mums! :)

Mine is now officially overdue, was soooo hoping for an april fools baby but clearly she's making us wait!

Man, I have missed so much again! :dohh:Congratulations all the April mummies! I can't believe how many we've had already :D

I'm doing OK, I'm still itching like crazy, but my midwife had a bit of a clash with the lab who are refusing to test my bloods any more for cholestasis, and the consultant isn't supporting the MW so I guess that's that. We'll never know for sure if I've got it or not... The good news is that I got sent a research paper which shows at my current levels I'm not at any more risk of a still birth than any "healthy" pregnancy, and my levels are unlikely to jump up enough over the next couple of weeks to put me in danger, so the extra testing would really have just been to put my mind at rest.

Anyway, apart from the itching and the coccyx pain I'm OK, except the baby is starting to hurt me with its movements! Are the rest of you getting that? Getting shoved so hard it is sore? I'm glad in a way because at least I'm not having to worry about a lack of movement, I've definitely got a wee wriggler in there :happydance:

I've got less than 3 weeks to go now and I keep swinging between can't wait and bloody terrified! :dohh: It all seems so real now... Still haven't actually packed the hospital bag yet!

Oh. And I found out from the OB physio on Monday that she's going to come around and kick my arse if I even consider driving or lifting anything heavier than my baby before 6 weeks are up :hissy: I can't imagine being stuck in the house for 6 weeks :( I figured I'd at least be able to get a taxi up to the breastfeeding support group once a week, but she says I can't carry the baby in a car seat, so that idea is out the window... And she says I can only walk short distances too... Bugger.

Ann I have that with the movement too. It really hurts! But like you said, I don't have to worry about movement either, one of the joys of being on rest due to SPD!

hey guys!
I'm Emma :) were expecting a girl, due 4th April (tomorrow) although it doesn't feel like anything is going to happen anytime soon hehe :)

me too and im not even overdue!! you guys must be going mad!! xxx

I can't wait for LO to come!! I'm still being sick everyday and now I have bloody carpel tunnel syndrome which is keeping me up at night. Everytime I stand up I need a wee. I just wanna have my baby now!!!!! Still got 3-5 weeks to go though!

hey girls sorry for the delay on updating. miss kinleigh got admitted back to the hospital the drs seem to think that she has an infection. so we are here while while she gets IVs of antibiotics. I think I spent the whole day yesterday crying.
