I swear I must not look at the number of births all the time because I remember the last time I noticed it said something like in the 50s! Congrats to all the new moms!

Sunflowers, I saw your thread on your babies position and really hope that the baby turns back into position!

I've got nothing so far. Thought that maybe something was starting yesterday, but can now chalk it up to the tuna sandwich from Subway as I'm feeling fine now. Boo! I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow though. He said last week if there isn't much progress they'll be scheduling an induction date then as well. I was really really hoping I wouldn't even make it to tomorrow's appointment but there's still time! haha

The good thing is, after the appointment we're going to go have some Chinese food as our last lunch without the baby. I've been looking forward to that since last Tuesday!

Hi ladies, I'm back!

Induction refused. Cervix is soft but still prosterior so the consultant refused to book me in. Instead of me going back next week he said I should request my community midwife to come out and give me a sweep, then get her to book me in for induction if I am favourable.

I haven't actually met the mw in my area yet and the clinic at my surgery is only on Thursday's so am thinking might be an idea to arrange an appointment this week and see if she will give me another sweep (provided of course the one I just had doesn't do anything!).

The Dr who examined me today was a lot nicer than the one last week and he was really apologetic, both about the discomfort of the internal and the consultant refusing the induction.

Thing is I am now a little concerned that in my notes it says Lev +++ and Pro +++ but no one said anything.

Am really sore again now, though not as much as last week.

Just a real quick one to say OUCH!! Having mild contractions every 25-30 mins but only lasting about 10-15 seconds.. No other signs at all, so don't think this is it yet Just feeling really uncomfortable and can't settle to go to bed yet. Will post in the morning as my phone is playing up now Night all xx

I've only 4 days to go til my due date, was told last week baby is back to back, OP, it was the LAST thing I wanted to hear really hoping for a VBAC but it doesn't look hopeful at the mo with the baby in the wrong position - my first was posterior which resulted in emergency c-section so history seems to be repeating itself.

Doesn't feel like the baby is going to move round again no matter what I do, lets hope she moves when my labour starts! fingers crossed! Good Luck to all due this week xx

Well still nothing happening for me 11 days over and have not yet been contacted for induction date and am worryig myself sick as have no idea what is going to happen and when. Im going to call the community midwifes at 8.30 to see if they can give me any info. Here I cant just call my midwife, I have to phone and speak to whoever is on call for just one hour in the mornings. Its soooo frustrating

Well I'm still here - Contractions got to about 15 mins apart, but then just totally stopped Managed to get a full night sleep for once, but now feeling very achey and tired again (and it's only 10am!!!).

Cramping eased off again somewhere around 3am and I managed a few hours sleep in our new bed. However, I am also shattered and cramping has started up again.

Still nothing from me, apart from i seem to be having a bloody show again? First one was sunday after an unsuccessful sweep so maybe it was just bleeding from the internal and this time its the show?

OMG tried to DTD last night to disastrous effects, including me screaming at him JUST DO IT!!!!!! Got the foreplay going nicely, then couldnt get comfy, then had really bad acid reflux and kept saying im going to be sick, then couldnt get angles right, then i completly dried up, and couldnt get it in! He was saying come on this is silly lets just cuddle, i dont want to hurt you, its not much of a turn on you keep retching at me! We gave up in the end and i felt i had let him and myself down, and was really cross! Looking back though it probably wasnt a good idea, and im glad it was dark as i must have looked hilarious trying to get into position!

Dont think we will be doing that again!!
