If we have a boy we are thinking of this now? Is that really sad?

Hadn't even occured to me! Cute idea though and I love the name, unfortunately my DH doesn't and we've already agreed on Jacob for a boy.

We have sort of decided on a boys name but cant settle

Finn
Fynn
Finnlay

So if it is on st Georges day that would be kind of nice!

Saw the HV today and got given the Red book and Birth to Five. I was cramping all the way through the apppointment and she asked if she could feel, so she did and declared that I am not cramping but am in fact having contractions. I thought they were too often to BHs but they aren't painful enough to be proper labour contractions.

So, Day 4 of this sort of pain. I am in agony and spent an hour crying and shouting at DH earlier. So had another bath and managed to get my head down for 1.5 hour nap.

Just a quick update to say Gabriella Pia was born at 11.18am, weighing 8lb 11oz!

She breastfed for 2 straight hours once we got out of recovery, and has been sound asleep on my chest since 2.30pm!

Just waiting on the visitors then at 8pm were going to wake her up for more skin to skin and another feed :)

I don't know how to get my photos off the blackberry to photobucket so unless I figure that out you'll need to wait till I'm home!

Thanks for all the wishes this morning girlies! :friends:

Oh wow, a little girly! I was totally wrong :haha:

Congratulations 555ann555! Hope you're recovery is a quick one and you and your new family are home soon xxx

Congratulations ann, thats wonderful news!

Congratulations and well done to all other new mummies!

Sunflowers I'm so sorry abt bubs turning and being naugty, I mean what are he odds of turning at this point, hopeing you don't go into labour with all the best interests!

OK I am officially fed up and not coping. I've been having theses pains and again I know they're contractions I can feel the tightening as can my MUM, and tonoight they kicked off every five minutes lasting two minutes, phoned mw, and stupidly said that the seem to be one strong one one slightly less stronger one. She said come back when they are all strong! THanks, in other words Queens is chocker block as usual and they're tryin to put me off going in! My biggest fear about my hospital it's pants ans severely not enough beds for a london borough and no where near enough midwifes and staff for antyhing to be effecive and efficicent!

Anyway tok myself to bed to have a lay down and a compeltle sulk and paddy, and they faded almost to nothing, but seem to be picking up again now! I know I ave induction in two days and I thanks GOD for that cos no way in hell I could do this for another week possble two!

Congrats ann! I'm glad it went well and can't wait to see the pictures! :)

Had my appointment today and...still the same! 1cm dilated, cervix is pretty high up and so is this little guy! She said maybe she could call it 1.5cm but not really. I told her I wasn't expecting much anyway since I haven't been contracting at all.

Thankfully the doctor is giving me until next Tuesday to go into labor naturally until they induce. She said from the looks of it though we'll be getting induced. So, if he's not here by Tuesday then I might be going in Tuesday night to start it or on Wednesday morning.

:yipee: Congratulations Ann!! Sounds like everything went really well.

I just noticed that I'm down for a Baby Boy on the first page, but he's Ollie. I know you're busy mommyof3girls, but maybe you could update it some time? Thanks! Oooh - not long now till Miss Kinleigh comes home!! :happydance:

Just a little update re Sunflowers.

She went to DAW for high BP and had various tests and also had her scan. Bloods were fine, Lowenna-bump has turned back to head down BUT she her BP has been high all day (not really surprising I guess) so she's being kept in for monitoring overnight. If no improvement then either section or induction for her tomorrow.

Congrats ann!

Good luck sunflowers!

Me still cramping! Not any worse or any less!

Got the right strop with my poor mum earlier! Just answered the phone saying NO I HAVNT HAD THE BABY YET!! She was all taken a back and said i was only phoning to see if you were ok as you were upset yesterday! Bless! Im sorry mum!

Not sure whether to go to bed as it always seems to stop when i go to bed! But obviously need to get rest if it is labour!

I'm delighted for Sunflowers that her baby turned back head down! That's amazing news considering how late baby turned breech. Best of luck for tomorrow!

Congratulations 555Ann555, you must be over the moon! Fantastic news :)

Sabriena, it's right around the corner for you now eh? At least you know you'll have baby by early next week if not before!

MrsGlitz, hope you're getting some good rest as it seems you're being dragged through quite an up and down process with this little one.

Minikat, you're sex story had me chuckling, I have to say...lol! Just wasn't going to happen, lol..we did it once but just wasn't worth it! I'm sticking to the tea and walks. Funny about your mom in a way too. My mom-in-law phones every night with ''Still there huh?'' and I'm sure my annoyance showed last night as she asked me about it. I lied and said I was just tired. Bless her, she's 71 years old and has a heart of gold, she'd feel hurt if I was annoyed with her so I'd rather tell a fib, lol

i changed it :) When I'm not taking care of the girls or at the hospital with Kinleigh i'm on Bnb.

Sunflowers is being given meds (not sure of the name) to try and bring her BP down and if that works she'll be allowed home in the morning and continue waiting for the VBAC she wants.

As for me, stopped again!!!! I called my antenatal ward and they said given my GBS to go in when I am getting one every 10 minutes to antibiotics. So in theory I should have gone in on Friday night.
