Welcome Choco and SquirrelGirl, congrats on the BFPs! Choco, that is so scary about the bleeds, but as long as the baby is doing well, thats whats important. Time does start to move faster, I think when I got to about 10-12 weeks, time really started moving. Squirrel, I see you are having twins, welcome to the club. I think that brings us to 4 sets of twins on this thread!

AFM, I am in NY for my shower this weekend. I am dying to get things set up for the babies, so this should be a good start. I am also 20 weeks today, yay!! Only 17 weeks or so to go!

Mrs. Sunshine - Thanks for the bday wishes! It was an amazing week...got to see our baby last Tuesday and hear the HB again on Friday (at the regular OB visit). DH also threw me a big party on Saturday night...it was themed - 1920s Flapper/Gangster and we did a casino night at our house with one of those casino parties. It was SO FUN! Everyone was telling us it was the best party they had ever been too!
Also, How did your scan go? I looked for a post but couldn't find it (maybe I just missed it). Hope it went good an you get to see your babies again last week

Michelle - hope your shower went well and you got tons of fun stuff!

Annie - Congrats on the great scan and love the new pic!!

AFM - I ordered a doppler today. IT was $50 online and I figured what the heck...the sound of my babies HB is music to my ears! Plus it will just give me some reassurance that everything is ok now that I am getting into the 2nd tri where my symptoms are starting to disappear.

My scan was perfect thanks, both babies are doing well, although they've put my dates back by 4 days but no on seems worried so I'm trying not to too!

So there is no doubt about it, this kid is kicking like crazy during the day. He started giving me good kicks on 19+0 weeks and in the past few days they have gotten stronger and more frequent. Sometimes they take me by surprise but it is the coolest feeling in the world.

I am all alone for the next 8 days. Hubby went on a business trip and I am just waiting around to have my ultrasound done and then hop a plane next Tuesday. I hope this week goes by fast. I hope the next time I see the husband, the baby is kicking strong enough for him to feel it.

hello everyone,
so glad to hear everything is going well. 12 weeks still seems like forever away, but I'm getting there, slowly! My dating scan is 10th of Feb, and hoping that will be when I meet the consultant, because of the unicornate uterus I'll be consultant led, apparently he's very experienced, but quite old school...
Can't wait to buy a doppler at 12 weeks, I'm sure it will be my new obsession! Already trying to think of a mural for the nursery wall, and at the same time, trying not to think too hard about it, in case there's no need.

Off for a reassurance scan in an hour, it's nice to be going with out any bleeding and feeling a bit calmer, though I can't help but feel sods law is that this is when something goes wrong, so please cross yoru fingers for me!

Squirrel-glad you found us! Good to have another twin mom to chat with
Choco-try not to worry about the bleeding, I know it is hard but I also had bleeding in the beginning and everything was fine. I think it is quite common in early pregnancy
Wantanerd- so glad you finally found a good Dr! It sure makes a difference to find someone who is good that you can trust! And exciting to be feeling kicks too, I can't wait for that. I think I have felt something recently but not too sure if it was a kick or not.
Michelle-hope you had a good time at your shower and got some cute things congrats on being 20 weeks and over the half way point!
Annie-so great that yoru 12 week scan went so well, you must be thrilled! congrats
Sunshine-happy belated birthday! Sounds like a fun party you had Exciting you ahve ordered a doppler!
AFM-nothing too new, still waiting for next appt this friday and then my scan next week, can't wait to see the babies again! Still not sure if we will find out the sexes, think we might stay on team yellow! Feeling super tired these days, working is becoming harder by the day, we'll see how much longer I can make it!

Hi, ladies. Can I join? I'm 6w4d after my 2nd round of IVF. I see some familiar faces in here! I searched other Sept groups but feel more comfortable with AC ladies. Had my 6 week scan yesterday (1st one!) and saw one very perfect, strong heartbeat!

Can I join aswell? based on last week's scan i should be 7wks+2 after first round of IVF! i also feel more comfortable with AC ladies so i'm glad i've found you!

Got another scan tomorrow so wish me luck that everything is well... still very much in the grips of worry so really hope I can see the heartbeat this time!

Thanks for all the well wishing, it went great She's looking really good and healthy, big strong cord, definitely baby shaped now, and she wiggled!!! Was very cute and very moving! The heamatoma seems to have resolved, and though I'm still getting a bit of brown blood here and there, it's not bothering me, so that's me signed off from ACU now, I'm in the care of the main maternity unit.
Next scan at the EPAU in a couple of weeks.
