The nursing course sounds good Julie! I'd have loved to have been a nurse, I looked into training recently as I'd still love to do it but I don't think it would fit right now as I have no childcare and Martyn works long, odd hours. How is the house move going?

It's just Naomi and I tonight, Martyn's out with friends and Holly and Shelby (our dog) are staying with my parents so I'm having a quiet night in...... HA!! Naomi won't go to sleep for some reason and I'm shattered!

We're good thanks Maria! Nothing very exciting to report, just the blur of every day life! Lol.
Josh keeps getting up for the day between 5 and 5.30 so I am very tired! Best just to keep busy and not think about it. m has pulled some random sleeping patterns too over the last few days but just riding it out.


Mel, so pleased to hear your both doing well. I can imagine it was a bit over whleming at the time. It's strange having a small one after a big one isn't it? Took me some getting used too. Agree with Hann, mothercare do a range of small things, asda still comes up massive on M, as did Sainsburys. tesco wasn't too bad.

Maria, hope you had a nice quiet evening to yourself last night. I agree you could def do as nursing qualification, think of all the time you will have when both girls start school, i want to do something else havent quite decided what yet though.

Georgie, its very strange having a wee one, H seems so grown up now its scary, not helped by the fact his speech is coming on leaps and bounds at the mo, i can hardly keep up with him!
We dont have a mothercare here unfortunatly, very strange as we have everything else, id have to travel to one and not going anywhere in this weather.

We had a good night here. H slept till 8 and L was feeding bang on 4 hours so we all got sleep, just waiting for some friends to pop round then my parents coming round later on for a takeway. H doesnt seem too well today, we actually found a bit of sick on his sheets and hes not himself today, we think its those pesky back molars coming to join us. Hes napping now so hope he gets a decent one.

Mel it sounds like its all going so well for you! I can imagine my experience will be nothing like that, downside of BF is the constant feeding! 4 hourly stretches sounds wonderful! I hope H is okay too.

Georgie - big big sympathies on the early wake ups. Really hope that stops soon!

My days been okay, busy. I survived the 'friend' visit, it was a bit awkward at times but it was me who just kept asking about their lives and what they were doing. Not once did they ask about the new baby or how I was/what I am up to. It confirms my belief that they think I'm boring etc. It didn't make me want to rush to make another date to see them but at least we met and broke the ice so it won't be awkward anymore.

Annabelle suddenly has a cold which is annoying as she's permanently sick. Mil here tomorrow so yay to that lol! Almost bedtime and I'm shattered but thankfully Greg is off for a week on thurs so just 3 days to get through this week!

So we had my sister over today which was lovely and we made loads of food and she bought a cake as she is brilliant at baking. Neel is STILL ill - it's been over two weeks now and so he is going to the dr tomorrow. He feels so sorry for himself too. I'm off work this week and only working Thursday so Ajay is still going to nurdery tomorrow and for the first time ever I'm going to have a day to myself! I've got loads of chores to do in the morning then going for a massage in the afternoon - it's going to be wonderful! x

Oh Mel poor H! That's just not what you need right now is it At least Lucas sounds like he's being a star, I'm so amazed he's feeding every 4 hours, how awesome, especially for a little one. You are very lucky (and i'm crossing my fingers for you that he stays so chilled out!).

Caz, your day tomorrow sounds lovely (well apart from the chores lol) - sounds like a well deserved break and please do not even THINK about doing any work! Can't believe Neel is still ill, v sensible of him to go to the docs though, paul always refuses...

Hann glad it went ok with the 'friends'. Tbh they sound really horrible, I can't stand people who think their friends become boring after they have kids, they become really judgemental. I have a friend like this too and i feel like she's distanced herself from me which is a shame really. My inkling with my friend is that she's jealous but i'm not sure about yours, doesn't sound like she really wants kids at all does it? Oh and yay for only 3 days this week, sorry you have to share them with the MIL though, booooo!

Maria aah i think you'd make a wonderful nurse as you're very caring. Could be something great to look at when N starts school.

All ok over here, feel really tired today, Leo just isn't sleeping well at the moment so i feel permanently tired - I napped while he was napping but i am not a very good napper so felt lousy after! We haven't done much today, the weather is shocking isn't it!

Just saw your post Simmy, that's annoying about Leo's sleep. I hope tonight is better. I'm starting my hypnobirthing CDs properly this week and they tend to make naps deeper but shorter - could be worth a try for you?
Sorry you have an idiot friend too! Who needs people like that?!

Yes interesting about hypnobirthing and sleep! I may start doing my pregnancy yoga DVD again too, I think that helped last time.

Grrr some nights gregs about as helpful as a sack of potatoes! Gone to bed at 9.30 as I'm exhausted - not him! Annabelle woke up screaming at 11.30pm so I've just had to calm her down and give calpol and cuddle etc and put her back in - 15 mins, and he has 'stayed asleep' the whole time although he hasn't as he's moved positions twice so he's chosen to ignore her and leave me to get up even though he's meant to be trying to get up more as I'm in later pregnancy and also so she is used to being calmed by him. Seriously annoying!!
And Annabelles crying again.....long night ahead

Oh Hann I just had to do the same thing with Leo, he spat the calpol out and you know how messy that is! Long night ahead for both of us hope not anyway. Greg needs to get up next time can you just nudge him??

Even if Leo sleeps through he is coughing loads in his sleep so I doubt I will sleep... Fx for both of us...

Just checking in -- still pregnant
I've been cleaning all day, though (not because I'm nesting, just because my house was/is disgusting! ), and my have overdone it a bit. Really crampy tonight. OB appointment tomorrow afternoon. I'm scheduled to see the OB who loves to stir stuff up, but I'm hoping I don't get any unexpected sweeps. Too early for that, IMO, and I really want her to stay put for another week. Not that either sweep I had with Maisie did anything. I'm starting to really convince myself more and more that I'm going overdue again and I'm honestly totally fine with it as long as labor starts before they insist on inducing me at my 41 week appointment (they said they'd let me go 10-14 days over as long as all is well). Of course, if I go over and still have to be induced, I'm going to be irritated.

Julie - really hope it happens when you want it to and that you don't have to be induced - either way next couple of weeks should all start happening! Exciting!

Had a horror night of constant wake ups and up for the morning at 5am. I can't believe she is sick again, it's ridiculous. And worse MIL comes again today! Really could do without that!

Neel is being rubbish too recently. He says he is tired all the time so I'm doing loads and although I worry about him it's exhausting for me. He saw the dr at 830 and they said its not an infection just to ride it out

Simmy did Leo go to sleep in the end?
