SB - that's great news, so glad everything's ok. How's the sickness?

Hann - oh goodness your mil is frustrating! I can see how it gets to you. I agree with Caz, you are fabulous for still getting out and about to annabelles classes and still managing naps etc with Henry - so sweet!

Maria - what's a latch board? Oh and I think if you want holly to be able to play in the kitchen too, go for the wooden one, the side by side is pretty small for a 5 yr old.

AFM had a MW appointment today, all is fine and the baby is 3/5 engaged. I thought I could feel pressure on my cervix... I never had this last time as Leo's (massive) head never engaged at all.

Thanks Simmy - Ajay isn't beter this morning unfortunately. He is boiling hot, never felt him so hot. So Neel and I are splitting the day and I'm taking him to the dr this morning. Poor little chap

The latch board looks cool Maria! They love fiddling with things at this age don't they. Leo's favourite thing right now is hiding his little cars - I find them everywhere!

Caz, aww poor Ajay, it's so horrible when they're ill. Maybe he needs antibiotics? Hope he's better soon x

I'm not sooo excited about being 3/5 engaged - means I might go into labour and scupper having a c section!! Lol

How's Ajay Caz? We are in the same boat, I got just over one hours sleep last night, took her to the dr and she has tonsillitis so we have anti biotics. Not great!
I am tired!

Took Ajay to the dr - says its a normal cold but his temp was so high this morning. Am feeling so sorry for him but the calpol really does work! We are just relazing this morning. x

Does a regular cold cause a fever? I never think of colds doing that but I'm probably wrong.
I agree calpol does help, just given Annabelle some (well an hour ago) and she's perked up enough to go in the garden with mil. The idea was that I would get a sleep but typically Henry woke up lol!

Meant to be out for dinner tonight with Greg. I actually really want to go still as we never get the chance to go out. Almost every time we have planned to Annabelle has been sick so we have cancelled it. We were always planning on taking Henry with us. I'm thinking that surely after a day if antibiotics and if we dose her up with calpol and ibroprofen she might be able to at least sleep until we are back at 11. I'd feel awful though if she did wake up and was hysterically crying for me (like last night) and I wasn't there. I'm also exhausted too and going out won't help that but equally I would like to relax out, not cook or clean up, and have some nice wine. What to do arghhh!!

On the upside clearly no sleep agrees with me as now only have 6 pounds to lose and 4 inches round my waist. In 17 days I've lost 7 inches and 17 pounds.

Hann, im so jealous of you, ive lost 17lbs in last 2 months but thats through hard slog lol. Still got about 32lbs to go! Poor Annabelle being on antibiotics, bless her, hope you get to go out tonight and get a bit more sleep!

Simmy, wow 3/5 engaged that sounds promising!

AFM Manic couple of days, over mums yesterday where H spent the night and we put Lucas in his cot for the first time, hes just getting too big for the moses basket, i was in floods of tears, mainly steming from the fact hes my last baby. Its a weird feeling. Anyhow, he did great and was totally stretched out in all directions, he totally embraced the space and slept from 9pm to 545am so pretty good!
Today was my stepdads birthday i spent 4 hours last night making him a cake, my kitchen was a mass of flower, sugar and blue dye. Well the end result i was extremly happy with actually. Best one ive done i think! lol
Today we gave him presents and went for lunch, we got him a massive canvas of the boys, he was so choked up over it! They have only just left and im exausted!

Nice chilled weekend planned, visiting some friends tomorrow and sun other friends coming to us we are going to do a barbeque and put the bouncy castle up.

Evening ladies, Happy birthday Maria, hope you've had a lovely day, what have you been up to?? I had a proper look at the latch board and it looks amazing, however i realised it will help Leo figure out how to undo all the locks in our house so decided against it hahaha.

Hann that is amazing weight loss - you too Mel, you ladies are my inspiration! Hann i can't believe you only had 1 hour's sleep you must be shattered - did you decide to go out for dinner in the end? If you did i hope annabelle was ok with mil. How has the MIL been today?

Caz yep the calpol does cheer them up, i always alternate with nurofen too if the temp is very high. Hope ajay's perked up by tomorrow x

Had a busy day here, i've done most of the baby's laundry, lots of little pink things hanging on my washing line, so cute Still got loads to do though, the house is a tip and we haven't got around to transferring Leo to his new room yet because paul hasn't constructed the furniture as he's been travelling so much - and travelling again next week!!

In the meantime the baby is putting sooo much pressure on my insides i'm convinced i could go into labour soon........

Did go out tonight and so glad I did as she didn't wake up at all! Henry was amazing too, he fell asleep as we left the house and woke up as we came back in! We came back in and he did about 5 massive farts then a huge poo lol, what a gentleman! He did ever so well though. Now doing the night feed. Hoping I'll get a few hours sleep tonight but not holding my breath!

Also more to tell you, had a chat with mil and it turns out that FIL potentially has a drink problem - apparently he's drinking around 6-8 pints Guinness and a whole bottle of wine per night! Apparently they can go for days/weeks without speaking!! I told Greg and he's mortified! It's really sad if thats the case but we don't know got sure as mil is an exaggerator so we don't know! Not good though!

Really bad about your PIL, if the extent of it is true. That is a LOT of booze. I actually feel sorry for your mil, what a horrible thing to have to deal with...

I know, of it is true that is! I'm a bit shocked as FIL had always seemed so balanced!

Slings - I love my Victoria the sling lady stretchy wrap but I am also using a ring sling which is good for just popping him in with no tying. I have a natibaby pancy pearl which was £65 but I got that so it went with my outfit for BILs wedding so its more expensive than you neeD. Let me know of you want me to add you to any sling fb groups.i also have a boba 3G but not used it yet, they are structured carriers so like a baby bjorn of you like them but they position the baby better, much more expensive though!

Simmy - morning sickness is still pretty bad! Thankfully, not as bad as with Katie where I was throwing up constantly all day, but I still feel nauseous for at least half of the day and throw up about every other day. But it's slowly improving...as long as I'm not in a car! lol

Hann - I'd love to know your thoughts on the Boba 3G when you use it. I'm about to get one next month after about six months of researching carriers. It seems like the best one to use for both toddlers and infants, but I don't know of anyone personally who has one. Once you start using it, please give a review of your honest thoughts!

Mel - very pretty cake! Love watching your progress, it makes me so eager to get back into serious baking once I get out of this morning sickness stage!

Han - wow Henry was great last night, bless him! Glad you managed to have some time with Greg together. And your FIL - blimey that is a lot, I hope he is ok - imagine how his body must be drinking that every day. How sad for Greg as well.

Ajay is sort of on the mend - his temperature is still up and we are still dosing him with calpol but he is getting there. So we're having a quiet weekend as the in-laws are away for the weekend so it's nice just to be the three of us. The house is coming on well, maybe 6 weeks left until it's 100% done and hopefully we can move back in in maybe 3-4 weeks. Can't wait to be home again! x

SB - will def let you know about the boba, I have high hopes for it!

Annabelle is still sick, she's been on a terrible mood all day, just wanting to be with me or just fussing in general. Obviously it's not her fault she's feeling bad, she is so bad at coping though. We had our photography session today to get photos of Henry (and family photos) and she screamed the entire hour the photographer was here. All she wanted was for me to sit inside with her and watch cars rather than be outside having the photos taken. Eventually the photographer gave up and is coming back on Monday in the hope she might be happier and we can get some photos taken! She keeps saying she's done a poo everytime I try and change Henry's nappy, obviously upset that he's getting attention.
Of course now the photographer has gone she's fine. I know she's not well which is affecting her behaviour but even so she is being quite hard work as she refuses to be with anyone else especially at night so I'm just feeling terrible now as I've had less than 5 hours sleep in the last 2 days because she's woken everytime he's been asleep and vice versa. I really hope she sleeps tonight. If only she let Greg comfort her

Hann, poor you! Annabelle is just adjusting bless her, being unwell cant be helping, it must be such a big shock for our toddlers to suddenly have siblings! Not good re your FIL either, hopefully MIL is exagerating a bit.

So quietish day here, washing, cooking, i made a wicked fish pie which we had for tea. Tomorrow we are having friends over for a barbeque which will be nice, hope the weather is good!
So today on groupon they had courses in swedish massage and indian head massage less than half price for a 1 day course for each so im doing them to add to my repetoire, so excited for my new venture im beside myself! Thankyou to all for the lovely cake comments too

We have probably had this conversation before but I can't remember- SB-I remember you saying you want a big family, is anyone else planning more children? We aren't having any more now- I'm really enjoying all of the pregnancy talk though!
