Hi - I can highly recommend Angelsounds fetal doppler... I got it off amazon for about £30 with 2 tubes of ultrasound gel.

I first heard the heartbeat at about 11+4... I can pick it up in about 10 seconds now... much easier in the morning before I have a wee and lying down flat. x

The Angelsounds doppler is excellent. I used it from about 17 weeks on but I heard that you can use it from about 12 weeks onwards.

You can hear hb from as little as 11 weeks sometimes, but i held off as I didnt want to be in the position where I couldnt hear it and start to panic. I got my Angelsounds one for £25.00 on eBay. I also recommend changing the headphones for an ipod pair.
