BFN..AF-type bleeding then BFP...possible miscarriage?

Hi All

Sorry to bore you with another bleeding question! i have been TTC for over a year now and had an AF on the 2nd Aug...my periods are sometimes irregular so it didn't suprise me when i didn't come on again until the 12th Sept (over a week late....i took numerous HPT's but all )....
However after feeling sick and lightheaded over the weekend just gone, i decided to take another test on sunday (25th) and got a ....very surprised but i'm now confused!
My bleeding is still going since i started on the 12th, the blood has been a mixture of light and heavy with a few small clots (sorry if tmi!!) and another HPT this morning showed ....i had a previous ectopic with a tube loss but not a m/c, is this normal for a m/c? has anyone else experienced this?
I'm not sure when i ov'd....i tested for 10 days with opk's and got all negatives so i had assumed i was out.

I'm not sure, but I'd make an appointment with your doctor, just to find out what is going on. I spotted for the first 10 weeks of this pregnancy, and had two pretty bad bleeds. I'd want to check to find out. He can run bloods. Hugs to you.

Ya that's very confusing. I would think if it was a miscarriage the tests would weaken, not show up the later it got. But I have no experience or answers. Definitely make a doctors appointment. Good luck!

Is it possible it's implantation bleeding? Everyone experiences this differently (from one spot of pink or brown to what seems to be a regular period).

Definitely go to the doctor and get bloods done - they will be able to tell you what's going on.

I would definitely talk to a doctor, but could very well be implantation bleeding

I thought I got AF the day it was due - went to the washroom and wiped and there was red blood. Within a couple hours it had stopped without ever getting heavy.

I also had brown spotting starting week 6 and ending about a week and a half later

The bleeding has turned into a light spotting with period-type cramps today, i took a digi at lunch which said pos with 1-2 weeks since conception so am hoping your right with the implantation theory...i'm thinking it's either that or i have m/c'd and the hcg is still possibly in my system?
I'm going to pop to the doctors tomorrow so hopefully i should know more then....the waiting is always the worst!

I am currently pregnant although I think they believe I'm further along than I actually am, looking back on dates & all. Anyways, I've been spotting for well over 2 weeks. Sometimes red, brown & sometimes even a yellowish color. I had my first appt. & the night before was when I first started spotting, it was very minimal I mentioned it and he had me go across town to get blood work done (they have two offices, ones in a hospital) They tested me for numerous things and for my blood type, I wasn't a negative so they weren't so worried, they tested me for multiple other things too. Anyways I called them back two days later & they said everything looked ok, so they scheduled my appt for two weeks later well the spotting got worse so on Sunday I called the doctor worried because it was the first incident of bright red, and he told me to call early in the morning and have them fit me in for monday the next day. He said unless I was hemmoraging then I don't really need to go to the ER. So anyways, I went to the doctors monday and spoke to him he did an exam and told me my cervix was still closed- THANK GOD. I WAS SO NERVOUS IN THE WAITING ROOM. Now, last visit he could see where the amniotic fluid was and where the sac was to form & this time he basically saw the same thing idk if its because the appt was set at an earlier date, BUT IM NERVOUS. He said he didn't want to bother with a vaginal US to just test the hormone levels & then come back Wed. for hormone levels again. So I went this morning for my blood to be drawn and I find out tomorrow if the levels are going up & then I can schedule my next appointment. It's so nerve racking waiting!! But on the brightside the spotting had almost COMPLETELY stopped today... but as of a few minutes ago it is red again. when does it end? Crossing my fingers for good news tomorrow.

I am about 8 weeks.....So I got the call that my hormone levels are high & high enough for a Vaginal Ultra Sound, I am relieved although my spotting is still happening WELL, tomorrow I will be going for this Vaginal Ultra Sound so hopefully I see a little teeny heart beat! I'm excited, but then again nervous at the same time. Wish me luck xox.

I went to the doctors and he was as confused with the bleeding as i was....he said to leave it a week and test again, if positive he will send me for a scan....i think i'm out though

It could just be that your lunchtime pee was too diluted, your first morning wee will be much more concentrated and so more accurate Keeping fingers crossed for you.

I took my last digi in the afternoon two days ago though and it came up pregnant 1-2 weeks i'm going to try again with my last digi and asda own brand with fmu tomorrow....if it comes up neg i'll know for sure then at least i can move on.....i just feel really mentally drained from it all now

It's ok, everything happens for a reason. I ended up going for the vaginal US and they didn't see a heartbeat, so they said it was a missed misscarraige I had made an appt for 1030 in the am the next day. I was having light pain before I went to bed and I woke up cramping HEAVILY. So I went to the ER and they did the procedure. My cervix was still closed but I was misscarring :/ Today I have light cramps. but no blood. I hope the best for all of you guys and I'm sorry to tell the bad news.
