Birthing Scar Pics!!! [May be graphic]

Only pic I have it of my infected scar.. no one wants to see that lol

Everyones scar look so neat though! x

I thought the scars would be much bigger!! and they all look so neat even after a few days

I had an episiotomy didn't take any pics, but just googled it and wish i hadn't , I never realised a vaginal birth can take so long to recover from :nope:

I loveee seeing the pictures though, I can't wait for someone brave enough to post their tear pictures. :haha:

Haha...I thought I was the only weirdo that wanted to see. I need to change the name of this thread.

Psssh, I love weird things. I hope more ladies post before I have to go google it.

Oh no! Not the google urge! lol. I have that too!

Hahaha didn't see this post!!!..... yeah don't google it!

Everyone has such nice scars, mine is dark and thicker in one part from where it was infected
Plus i have the overhang and coupled with a 5 months pregnant belly is not a good sight!
I'm hoping they'll cut the entire scar off with my next section, well i'll be asking the surgeon too anyway! Give me a nice fresh one :)

Mine got infected too... the pictures I posted are pre-infection (the entire left side of my scar is thicker, blotchy, and reddish/purple). Plus the overhang as well :haha:

Don't worry, everyone here just thinks they're beautiful! :flower:

Infected C-sections are gross!
I remember feeling flu-ey the night before, then the next day i just felt it and it was wet. Went to show my OH who was in the shower and just stood there flashing him in my dressing gown with bloody puss dripping from it :sick:

I didn't get flu-ey, but I felt pain inside the wound (like muscle pain when I turned or bended) then it started itching... a day later I got like 5 round yellowish bumps along the scar which eventually got gross and exploded (sorry, TMI). I eventually got prescribed antibiotics to get rid of the infection, but the red/purplish colour remained. The doctor said it "might fade in a few years" :dohh:

ah well... for some reason I'm not too bothered by it. No one will be seeing it but me and DH (and you ladies :flower:)

It mostly doesn't bother me, but i think with these pregnancy hormones and the fact i was just starting to feel normal about my body again then i got pregnant it just gets to me sometimes! Silly i know!!
Plus the stretchies which had faded are all back and getting darker....

al post one tomorrow my scar is tootsie and to the right as Ellie was prem and sttuck down at my pelvic bone, I had staples anyone have them xx

I took a pic of my bloody show - what i was intending on doing with it ive no idea!:haha:

Right so I didn't have a c-section, but I do have a horrific scars!!

After an awful time breastfeeding, I caught mastitis which went undiagnosed (I didn't have flu symptoms so they ignored me not thinking I probably didn't have symptoms as I was popping pain medication every few hours for my boobs!) Anyway...I ended up being rushed to A&E from the out of hours GP I saw one sunday night and had a ridiculously infected breast abscess removed.

So here it is about half an hour before surgery (hence the hospital gown, haha)

And about a week after the surgery, still being packed daily

4 months on, the scar looks very similar to the above picture. Still red and angry but at least it has skin on it! I had to have it dressed for 3 months after surgery.

But I have to be proud of my scars...I suppose!

Some of those scars are so neat and tidy. If I could be bothered I'd go and photograph my appendix scar that runs down the middle of my belly.

For the record it will take about a year for them to fade to white.

This is from my 2nd section with my lo got so bad infected I was readmitted and infection burnt off hurt like hell
