Biscuits at toddler groups

Where do you all find these groups where they actually feed the kids?!

I go to may toddler groups during the week to get us all out of the house! one gives them a healthy lunch, they had egg salad last week. One gives them a sit down snack of squash cut up fruit, few crisps and savory crackers and the other gives them much the same with toast and without the crisps!

Noah when he was 1 to around 20 ish months was never given biscuits, sweets etc and it weas easy to do that because he didnt compare himself to other children and what they had on their plates. Now however he does so we have to give him stuff like thos occasionally and in moderation it doesnt do any harm, he still is fruit mad and only gets sweets and the odd biscuit once a week if that! However at one toddler group they give s healthy snack to the kids and them offer the parents cake so noah throws a fit if he sees that on the side and cant have it!

Our Toddler group gives the option of water or juice and a biscuit. tbh I dont see the big deal about the occasional biscuit anyhow.... but i wouldnt take my child again if i wasnt going to let her have a biscuit with all the other children iykwim.

I think if your LO doesn't notice then it's not a problem. If your LO notices and wants one, I don't think one every now and then hurts. My LO has a very healthy relationship with food - eats loads of healthy stuff but he also has sweet stuff every now and then :)

Same! I don't buy biccies, crisps or chocolate for him but if he is somewhere and offered e.g. a choc button he is allowed it. I don't want it to be something that he wants but isn't allowed as I don't want a teenager on my hands who is off buying crap the minute he can!
Ethan has one of those baby/toddler biccies on weds, thur and fri when he's at nanny and grandads. At our toddler group they offer water/juice and toast though - I'm surprised they can offer biccies there. At schools we're not allowed to offer things that aren't healthy!

i think if my lo wanted one id let him have one. they dont offer them at our toddler group they offer organic snacks and fruit tea and water
