Hubby bought a tuning box for his car in October for £51, was coming from Germany I think it was, we waited and waited, seller claimed he posted it, although he ignored most of our emails. 3rd November we file a dispute, the seller tries to blackmail us by saying he will send another if we close the dispute and leave positive feedback first, he put this on the resolution page, he also gave a false tracking number.

We have been waiting until today for Paypal to make their decision and they've decided in his favour even though the tracking number is fake and we haven't received what we've paid for!

Is there anything we can do?

It's a debit card linked to the account not credit I am so upset, we need that money, hubby ended up buying a tuning box over here to save the hassle in the end thinking we'd get our money back

Oh that's so bad! They should give you the money back and let him take it up with the postal service if it really did get lost!

I don't know if you can appeal or anything? You should be covered by Paypal's protection thing?

Call Paypal, have they closed the case, if they havent dont close it.

What is the tracking number and is there a signature attached to it??

Paypal have closed it. The tracking number comes up with 'no match found' so theres no signature or anything.

It was bought on ebay.

What date did you buy the tuner???

I've been on and they've told me to appeal, sent paypal a snotty email so waiting for their response, then if I get nowhere I'm going to contact financial ombudsman, I'm really fuming about it!
