The only Minymo I have at the moment that's free is the winter collection although I have a spring one free middle of August.

Yep the 5 yr samples should be fine. If anything maybe slightly big depending on his size.

Unfortunately the sample sizes for Minymo are Newborn, 6-9 mths (although quite generous) and then 5 years

I have some Minymo girls 0-3 mths (in the newborn girls photo a few posts above) but no 2-3 years - the nearest would be age 5 or 12-18 mths. I might have some Kite newborn but will need to double check. x
