Breast feeding in public? Your views?

Anybody seen the photo of the woman doing a handstand BF? I'm on my iPad so don't know how to put the image on, it's amazing lol, forget having the balls to do it I wouldn't have the balance haha. I've just googled it and typically the first thing that comes up is "woman doing handstand BF offensive?" Lol.

My son would never latch like that. He always wants to be cuddled lol

Wow, I actually feel that presumption was really judgemental. As was the I wouldnt have. You have walked in my shoes have you? Where you cant nurse discretely, where there are no other options, where you have two young children and a new baby, where you've had severe PND before, where you're third baby died so you're at risk from severe depression again, where you are already suffering from PTSD due to your baby dying due to negligence and so not being out and about would be a trigger for all the MH stuff to be worse?

Unless the answer is yes to all of the above please dont presume that you know what you would or wouldnt do.

Funny how you all care so much about making other people feel uncomfortable but dont care if you make other Mum's feel like shit for their choices.

I remember my daughter 1yr+ walking up to the sofa whilst I was laying down, having a bit, then walking off lol

Just looked - WOW! I'd fall over and knock the baby down if I tried that!

Seriously I am not out to get you. You seem to find everything I say as offensive. Sorry you're right I had an assumption. I've never heard of a baby that would take formula out of a bottle but not BM. I said you corrected me I thanked your post when you did. I'm not trying to be rude maybe you could just give me the benefit of the doubt rather than think my whole goal is to offend you.

Is she cheating? Are her ankles tied to the tree, that's less impressive ;)

Oh my lord I have said I was wrong like three times how many times are you gonna go off about it. I am sorry that I assumed that. I was simply trying to say you shouldn't have felt the need to quit because people have opinions like mine.

And there is someone who bf completely naked apparently. Ha ha ha

I didnt say you was, nor have I said anything else you said is offensive. I have replied to you on everything but not said it was offensive.

I was already writing this when you thanked etc so I didnt see that until I pressed submit.

My whole point is and has been through out this thread, your experience is different to mine (and others) and so you shouldnt expect them to be able to make the same choices you do. It is easy to say I wouldnt of done x, y or z but you dont know that cos you didnt experience it.

Just to change it up a bit, is it offensive when my son cries and my 4 year old shouts "Mummy, Oliver needs BOOB!" in public? Or is it just the act that is offensive? lol

Because I am not seeing it until after I have replied.

Any way, moving on.

Incredibly offensive! Is it offensive that Maria calls circles boobies? :haha:

It's even worse when she says, "Mummy that baby is crying it wants boob, why isn't it's mummy giving it boob?" LOL

She doesn't mean to be offensive, she just calls it as she sees it x

Kaysie Blossom calls mine wibbley wobbley boobies, so boobs and calling circles boobs sounds much more appealing to me.
