Bringing in new year with a positive *january testing thread*

I’ve started to bleed at only 8dpo so im confused. It’s very watery as though its mixed with cm and my chart was looking nearly exact my last pregnancy chart, but I think I’m out this month. I thought implantation because that’s what the temps show, but that seems a far reach. Ive never had implantation bleeding and this isnt just a drop or few specks of pink. Bummed. Plus still fighting sickness- 8th day of nonstop debilitating migraine.

Oh no I'm so sorry to read this it seems we are all having weird cycles this time round do you think the sickness bug is messing up the cycle xx

Yeah, seems like an odd month for many of us.
Perhaps its the sickness as you suggested. It’s also tough to say because this is the first pp cycle and I instigated it by taking the Provera for 10 days. My period started 3 days later and I had a strong ovulation, but it wasnt until cd 22. I took provera since breastfeeding surpresses my cycle. Idk how that affects when af would be due.
I didnt honestly expect to catch the first egg. And i know that the first few pp periods can be weird.

We’ll see. If it is implantation bleeding, Im waiting to test with my hubby a few days from now. My temp this morning looks like the upward swing from an implantation dip, thats the only reason I’m a tad hopeful.

That is so strange. And had you said this is early compared to when you anticipated af? Very odd cycle for you.
The bleeding actually ended up being 4 literal drops of brown blood on my pad and it’s been over 3 hours. (But that was after wiping red blood on toilet paper so idk). Im praying so hard and Thank you for your prayer!

This was silly but…I tested at 8dpo.
I see vfls on my recent wondfo and whichever brand the pink/red is. Idk that they photographed as visible as seeing in person.

I see those lines @HalfricanMa and I didn’t even turn up my brightness on my phone! I was going to say your chart looks really promising and can’t be af already because your temp didn’t come anywhere close to cover line! Crossing everything for you

@HalfricanMa not silly, I’ve gotten bfps at 8dpo in 2 pregnancies now. I see those lines. I am praying honey.

Thanks everyone. Waiting during a long layover now, just one more 1-hour flight. Then we hit the ground running tomorrow with school etc. I see a new OB on Friday, a woman I know personally (our kids do a Christian homeschool program together) and I am looking forward to hearing her thoughts on testing etc going forward.

Sounds like implantation bleeding. I had IB with 2 out of 5 pregnancies so even if you’ve not had it before, it can still happen. Keeping everything crossed.

@MrsKatie your strength is incredible. This must be so hard for you and not being able to process the grief in the comfort of your own home must be so difficult. I hope your appointment with the OB offers some answers.

I was crampy last night like I usually am pre AF. Also have my pre AF headache. I expect I’ll start bleeding in the next couple of days. It was crazy of me to think I’d catch first time but I’m still really disappointed. On to the next cycle though - thankfully my cycles are fairly regular and not super long like they used to be.
