Mellie your cm sounds like a good un

Aimee Earl looks so cute, thats alot of egg boxes there!!!

Poor Harry gentle :hugs: sore ears suck

Kaites Emma looks like she's having fun on the swings.

I think Noah is hitting a growth spurt we are doing hourly feeds, just had Chinese as oh is at work and no time to get dinner cooked with Noah being a boobie monster!

Kte - Dear lord sack the cow! Grr I wanna go smack her in the face for stressing you out so much.

He he he yeah  I keep meaning to take them down to the recycling and I always forget. We also have about 20 odd SMA tins that need the same treatment lol :dohh:

I put egg boxes in the compost..... we take plastic down to the recycling always end up with loads sat around. Old place we lived took plastic for us.

We don't have a compost unfortunately (did at my old house but not at this one). We're moving soon so perfect excuse to get everything cleared out lol.

Morning all,

Mellie: She does seem good with everything else, my main bug bear is her not taking what I say seriously or listening to me when I have put my point across! I am hoping it's just a matter of we (me and CM) need to have some kind of understanding of how I work and develop some kind of relationship and I guess that takes time too. Other than that, Ofsted have given her a glowing report, Chloe always comes back happy, it's just me and her!

I do think we may have had a breakthrough this morning, better than the note breakthrought! Bloomin' rollercoaster this. She was saying how Chloe was 'unsettled' again at lunch time, but she noticed she is okay the rest of the time. She tried to give Chloe another bottle and she refused it. So the CM said to me this morning she wanted to check her gums to see if she was teething! FINALLY!!!!! I said, 'oh yeah, she has a tooth already, she is teething, it's here and told her where it was (Chloe doesn't let you see it much as its in an awkward spot). (Also just to point out, I have told her this before and written it in her book). Maybe she might start believing and listetning to me now.

So we shall see if this solves the matter or not! At least if it doesn't work out I know we have a plan B which makes me feel much better!

Aimee: Thats a good idea half feeding and half letting Earl doing it by himself :) Lol I was going to ask . . how many egg boxes?! :haha: We don't have compost either, technically we are supposted to but the box kept on getting maggots in it (with a supposive sealable lid) it was gross. We complained to the council and they had the cheek to say it was obviously something to do with us not being hygenic! So we scrapped that one, it's not ideal but I ain't having maggots about, they stink! IW

LK:Lol, yeah she brought my violent tendencies out too, unfortunalty Nij got the verbal brunt but he has been very helpful since. I feel happier knowing I don't have to just put up with her stubborness now if I don't have to. I'm going to see how the next few weeks go :D

Well, best get on with some work, the bonus of today is I get the Friday feeling! Yey for the weekend! :happydance:

Well I have a very poorly boy :( He took 7oz at 8pm then went to sleep. I woke up at 2am and 4am to the sound of him vomiting. My mum gave him his bottle this morning and he threw the whole lot back up. Syringed 1oz of water into him over about an hour. Then been offering him 2oz of milk (1 scoop of powder), letting him take 1oz, stopping him for 10 mins and then letting him have the other 1oz. So since 8pm last night he has had 5oz!! Couldn't get in to see the dr til 3.50pm so off there shortly. Really worried that he is going to end up in the hospital. He cries when you feed him like it really hurts his tummy. Will let you know how we get on. If he isn't any better by tonight there is no way I'm going to work tomorrow.

On the upside I got a letter from work today to say they cocked up with my annual leave and I actually have another 3 days to take before 1st April so lookin at the book tomorrow or Sunday to book some. Hoping to have next weekend off and then just work the sunday on the following weekend.

:flower: Hope James doctors appt goes well, poor lil man, hope he feeling better soon

I'm glad you seem to be getting somewhere with CM Kte has Chloe gone there today? Hope picking her up isnt spoilt by CM on about weaning again :hugs:

Hope your all having a nice day, its pretty pleasant where we are :happydance: walked to our nearest softplay centre this morning with a friend and her DD, Grace loved it, she was so worn out when we got back bless her! Tried Theo in a highchair while we was there, poor thing look swamped by it, think we will stick to the bumbo hehe!

Just relaxing for a while now then think I might go for another walk, need to pick up a parcel from the post office but its abit far  & i'm quite tired now!

Off to my friends later for a drink, some nibbles and watch a film  looking forward to it, haven't seen her in a while so we got alot of catching up to do aswell!

Hope everyone has a nice evening and weekend :D

Evening all,

We've had a bit of a bumper day today. Earl has finally started to 'get' tummy time and will now support himself on his arms. He still gets bored on his tummy though....so I suspect it wont be long until he's learning to roll just to get out of being there lol. Either that or crawling lol.

Lots more sitting up too so we're getting there with that. I put loads of cushions around him and he loved it, if not a little warm for his taste lol.

I think the tabs are working as well. I'm not as cold as I have been  Reminds me, hav to take one before tea lol.

LK - I hope James is ok. :hugs: to you all xx

Kte - Hope that the CM was ok today and that you have a smashing weekend with Chloe and Nij

I'm in the market for a new pushchair. Our Silver Cross is just too bulky and takes up too much room in the boot. Anyone got any recommendations. I need small but with a hood and raincover, preferably under £100.

Have a nice evening....pie and chips for tea and no Earl staring at my throughout lol. It gets off-putting after a while having a small child watching you intently while you eat lol. Oh and....last thing....I'm back in my old work trousers!! They were a little tight before I got PG even so I'm dead chuffed. the month of 'sort of' veggie seems to have worked!

Hi girls. We managed to avoid the hospital by a whisker! Dr gave him some homeopathic remedy and said to carry on with the fluids but to take him to the hospital if he is not drinking by this morning. Well he decided to take 5oz over about an hour last night and then had another 2oz before bed, slept through and then took 5oz at 7.30am and another 4oz at 10.30am. He is currently having a nap. Much happier and smilier this morning though. Unfortunately I have now picked up the virus and am feeling pretty rotten myself. Not been sick thank god but got a stomach ache and an awful cough and fever.

LK ~ Glad James is doing better. There's a Tummy virus going on here at the moment called "norovirus" it is basically a 12 -24 hour thing that goes as quickly as it came, causes tummy ache, vomiting ect. Hopefully he's over his tummy bug now. And YOU drink lots of fluids!! :) :hugs:

LK : Glad James is feeling better :flower: Hope you start to feel well again soon :hugs:

LK; poor James :( :hugs: to him & I hope he's over it soon.

Kte; I would've lost my temper with the CM by now....i cant believe how pushy she's being about weaning... and it does sound like she's doing it as an attempt to make Chloe more settled so she doesn't have to deal with her very much. Hope you dont mind me saying that, but that's how it seems to me???

Well, Harry's ear is a million times better & no longer smells or leaks gunk, so i think it's pretty much dealt with now. Still got a few days left of the drops.
After 3 days of no solids, I gave him a semi-mushed up rusk today at lunch & he he loved it. Ate half of it, wasn't phased at all by the lumps & kept grabbing at the spoon to feed himself. In the end, I just let him loose (like aimee said with earl) & he was so noisy with enjoyment, lol. Bless him; so yeah, I think he's ready now. :)

LK, glad James is feeling better, hope your feeling better too soon

Flora: I don't mind, that's what I have thought too and others have said it to me too. Thankfully I didn't hear anything on Fri from her about weaning when I went to get Chloe and there was no note in the book. I do think she has forgotten how demanding babies can be, she has taken on an 18 month old too so has her hands full, she was just supposed to be taking on Chloe. Chloe shouldn't suffer and be made to fit, she needs to change her routine. I have lost my temper about it, just not to her yet, having to be diplomatic about it, Nij and I are still reviewing it, we are kind of stuck and she has to go there at the mo, I want things to improve, id say I am 95% happy but the 5% needs sorting!! As much as i'd love to go part time its going to be difficult to pull off, I will if it gets too bad, obviouly Id love to at home with Chloe more but it would mean less coming in and we are tight as it is, plus Nij and I would barely see each other too. Had the MIL offer her services but she tried to put Chloe's dummy in backwards  so the CM still the best bet for now!!

Glad Harry's ear is pretty much healed :) & he enjoyed the rusk. I remember them being so yummy :haha:

~ ~ ~

Chloe has been great all day, playful and cuddily. Its been so nice to have the day with her and Nij. Well, bed time, yey! Had a nice Chinese tonight, 1st for months, salt and pepper chicken balls, yummy!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend :flower:

Possibly a car boot tomorrow weather pending and my Mum and Dad in the aft.

Nite all x

If I were you, I'd be worried that she is in fact giving her something when you're not there, which is shit, because that means if she has had a taste, she is gonna want it now.

Sorry I have not been on recantly.

If she did feed Chloe something, there would be trouble. My violence days are well over, but after seeing how Kte was the other night I was close to going round there and hitting the fat cow (and I dont hit women - but pushing Kte pushed me).
If she did feed Chloe, her CM business would soon dissapear I would make damn sure of that and I would make damn sure that she NEVER looked after children (including her own) again!

Corr Blimey Nij - Hell hath no fury lol.

I'm right there with you though. I'm a little apprehensive about leaving Earl with fmaily let alone putting him in childcare as I just don't trust the people around me to stick to my wishes.....my Mum (I think everyone is aware of the issues we have) Seems to see herself as a 3rd parent, despite only having seen Earl 3 times since birth! And she insists that I'm doing it all wrong....so I think I'd be the same if it was a so-called professional.

Earl is having a great day today...just a shame that hubby is at work all day. He left about 20 mins ago and will be home at about 7pm....just as Earl is going to bed.

Ooh time for a nap...for both of us lol.

Speak later everyone x

And I would like to thank everyone for the support given to Kte over this and my SIL xx

Morning girls. How is everyone today? I am having a bit of a self pity couple of days lol. Got a bad chest and feel really rotten and its kinda hit me that I have nobody to be there for me and look after James when I am sick. I am feeling rather lonely.

James still has diahrroea and not drinking a great deal. Woke at 6.30am and only took 3.5oz. Has had a quick nap and is now chewing his fists and sucking his thumb lol. He is happy enough though so that makes things a little easier. I just wish he would feed better. Think I'm going to stop giving him the homeopathic stuff though. It's supposed to cleanse the system...well its certainly doing that! So going to stop it and see if the diahrreoa still carries on.
