Good morning ladies!
Hope everyone had a good night! Emma had a better sleep last night so maybe the growth spurt is over? She's definitely outgrown a couple of her 6-9 mth sleepers- took a few tries to find one in her drawer that fit last night. I got Emma enrolled in baby swim classes last night. They start on Monday and only run for 7 weeks so we'll see if she likes them before enrolling her in a longer stretch of classes. Yoga finishes soon so that'll be nice to have something else to go to. I just hadn't planned on being seen in public in a bathing suit so soon
Eswift- CC is a cutie! Glad to hear your doc appointment went well- hope that the iron tablets do the trick and boost your energy
Kte- it's funny how toys from other places seem more exciting when you're little

My mum had a Paddington Bear teddy that I used to like to play with- my dad bought Emma a little one last time he was back in London so she's starting a collection of stuffed animals from abroad too

I still have a bag filled with all my stuffed animals at my parents place too.
Aimee- OH and I were commenting on violent cartoons a few weeks ago- we have a "retro" cartoon channel that is all the cartoons from when we were little and were watching Looney Toons (nothing else on TV that night, lol) and it's another violent one with the Road Runner and Cayote. Didn't seem violent when we were little but I guess it is! I used to be surprised by the cartoons that my class watched when I was teaching in Korea because they would inevitably try to mimic what they had seen on TV at playtime. I have a feeling I won't have to worry about Emma pretending to be some kind of violent fighting character though- unless she's a tom boy
Maffie- Glad to hear the ECG went well. I hope the blood work goes well and they can figure out what's going on. Have fun ebaying
Colsy- I think it's harder to find the Connectas because they are so popular and people really like them (less likely to part with them, maybe?). We have something similar, a Boba, and I love it (I"m a carrier junkie). The Boba is rated for babies 15-45lbs and with Emma being over 20lbs now, I like that it'll last us a while longer. I find that I can wear her for hours without her starting to hurt my back. I've read some reviews of the Baby Bjorns that say that once a baby gets to be about her size, the carrier pulls at the shoulders, but I haven't tried one so I don't know how true it is. I find the mei tai style of carrier distributes the weight really well though. I've finally mastered the back carry and that's super comfy for both of us- I can see that it's going to be the main way I'm going to carry her when she's bigger. hth

Monty sounds cute with helping you vacuum

Hope you are both feeling better!
Hope everyone is having a good day- time to find some breakfast!
