Think I may make some cupcakes later to chill me out! :)

I have a cake to make for next Friday. It is for an 80th birthday and the guy is into astrnomy and planes ... not a clue what I am going to do!! :wacko:

My friend has just said she might want me to make the Christening cake for her little ones christening in June too! xx
 
hey all, i too have been a bit quite here of late :blush: WOW that steaming is amazing! i would be way too nervous to get that close to one of mine :lol:

i normally just try to bake on the weekends - wedding diet + cake baking isn't always great :rofl:
every week i try and do a big birthday cake, plus cupcakes, practising for maddi's birthday and my mums birthday - middle of june then maddi 1st July! ekkk!

Some quickies I did on Monday, I thought I would give a differnt nozzle a go and try the dipping thing

Choc sponge with Bettys choc fudge

Ok so not dipped as didn't rise enough and thought cases would be covered so I dropped the fondant on instead.

lovely jubbly cupcakes girls! I LOVE dipped ones, its my fav type of icing (cant suffer eating the rest!!)

Do they actually show you how to do things or is it like ace of cakes where they just run around to tattoo parlours and then at the end go look what we did :D?

cake boss is fab i love watching it,

they do some lovely cakes and its all edible unlike ace of cakes

the ultimate cake off is another one but its hard to download as i cant find it many places and not all of the episodes
