Calling determined ladies TTC #1

I forgot to mention that I will be 34 at the end of this month and my husband is 31 years old.
Hi ladies!

I am new to the forum and like the rest of you I am TTC. My husband and I have been TTC since we were married in 04/2008, so almost 6 1/2 years with no BFP : ( We are still hopeful and that is why I am on the forum. I have been temp tracking off and on and I am starting back at it tomorrow morning. I am currently on CD 9 and just tried Pre Seed for the first time tonight. I am using that along with Rephresh Pro B for the first time.

I have very regular cycles that show ovulation through temp tracking and even with that have still never gotten pregnant. We do not have insurance coverage or the funds for fertility testing or treatment so I am all ears ladies : )

Hi girls. So last months thread we had 3 ladies get their BFP! YAY! Myself not being one of them I decided to start an additional thread to find more ladies out there.
A little about myself. I am 35 and hubby 44. Am in our 8th cycle of TTC. Waited a long time to solidify careers, houses, and take care of elderly dogs. Didn't believe it would take this long, but am determined by Xmas I will be pregnant
We are currently without insurance, but hopefully will have by October. I am on a myriad of supplements and eat now dairy and caffeine free. I am always on a low carb diet and exercise frequently. Hoping to find some fresh faces and share this exciting, yet frustrating journey.
I am currently on CD23 and just finished our bedding extravagnza:blush:.
Will be waiting for some new friends:coffee:

Hi girls, read through this thread quickly. I would like to join in the thread too, I am on CD4 and we have been TTC since Dec 2013.

I'm new here too. We are ttc #1, I'm 34, hubby is 38. I'm on CD7, and we have been trying since May of this year. I have PCOS, and I'm currently taking metformin to help my symptoms and to help me ovulate.
I would love to be pregnant by christmas. Sending you all baby dust and hopefully some BFP's in the not too far away future! :yellow::dust:

Hi ladies! and welcome :)

Hopefully we get a few BFP by Christmas!

Grace, wow that is a very long time! I'm so sorry this is taking so long for you. I see that you don't have the funds for fertility treatment, but have you done any testing? Perhaps a SA for DH or even checked if you have PCOS etc? Naturopaths are good too and not as expensive as fertility specialist, but they are still a bit pricey.

We have just started fertility testing and in 2 months have spent near on $3,000! It's crazy :( One set of blood tests cost $652 and I thought the government paid that bill but I guess not. I don't know how much we would be able to afford as it can get ridiculous. One friend spent over $50,000 and finally got pregnant... wow

Hi ladies :)
Sorry to hear it is taking such a long time for you Grace.
Anyone close to testing date? I think we need some tests/symptoms to obsess over.

Sounds good to me! I tested this morning but it was a bad faulty one. Now my fmu is wasted! Grrrrr! Today I got a headache, nipples hurt bbs hurt a little, af cramping they get bad then better off and on. Slight lower backache. Got a couple little bumps

Oops!! Hit send on accident. Lol!!
Got a couple little bumps on areolas too.

Af cramps were a symptom for me with my bfp, cos I only normally get get them once af is actually here. Nipples hurting was also a symptom for me. Do you get either before AF normally? It's still sounding good though!

I usually get cramps the day of, once in a while the day before...nipples...they never hurt! I have a headache today too and so tired! I took a cheapie test this morning and it was a faulty one! Grrrrr!!

Grace, I'm sorry you've been trying for so long. I'm afraid I don't have any advice but I really hope a BFP will be on the way soon for you.

Thanks for the welcome ttcgamer.

Welcome Starlight and mangoberry!

Lirpa, that's so expensive! Do you have insurance?

Loo, I'm 10 or 11 DPO but only have slightly sore boobs so am expecting AF in a couple of days.

Ladybird, fingers crossed for you! When will you test again?

Good luck Fleur :) will you wait until AF is late to test?
I'm 8dpo and having a few symptoms, like very small amount of cramps, headaches and sore throat, but just found out that my brother has been ill this week after I saw him last weekend so probably just picked something up off him! :(

HOLY HEARTBURN!!!!! I never get heartburn!! I feel like theres Icy Hot in my chest! Please oh please be a sign!!!

Yea we have private hospital and extras insurance but it doesn't cover fertility treatment.I could probably add it on but it would take months if not a year until they would even cover anything.insurance hasn't been very helpful other than for my eyes and teeth I reckon. We pay all this money and they're still so stingy!

I go in for an ultra sound tomorrow morning to see if the cyst it's gone on my ovary.if so I can come off bcp and go back to TTC! Fingers crossed.

Mt last two week wait was say the end of February:( DH was gone during my fertile timein march then April AF went haywire and I haven't had a normal cycle since.it's awful.

1dpo over here! Im on CD 22 so it was late one. I know it was the spurts of anxiety i had since it was first time temping and using Wondfo so, I was a nervous wreck wondering when/if I was going to O smh !

Good luck Ladybird!

Loo, I can feel AF will be here soon so I haven't even thought of testing. For the next cycles I'll wait till CD 32 or 33. Fingers crossed for you, when will you test?

Lirpa, I know what you mean, my insurance is the same. They don't cover lots of things (including check-ups) and when they do, they cap it so you still have an overhead. I really hope your cyst is gone and you'll be back on the TTC wagon.

cdelmar, glad you ovulated, hope this will be your month.

I really wish I could wait like you, Fleur. I had AF symptoms before my bfp, just saying ;)
I've been testing since 6dpo!

Yes fx for you Lady bird!

I just realized this morning 10dpo is DH birthday and I may test for the hell of It whether there are symptoms or not since it would be a great gift....fx!!!

Aww that would be lovely, cdelmar! How long have you got to wait?
Fx'd ladybird. Let us know how it goes.
