I have read through this whole thread and I would love to be apart of it! DH and I are ttc our first. I just stopped my bcp about 2 weeks ago and I am waiting for my first AF to appear and to start ovulating again. I have been taking folic acid and have been using OPK's but no success on that yet. Any suggestions? This is my first time ever trying!

Congrats to all that have gotten their BFP's lately! And I wish all the baby dust to the rest of you! Hopefully we can all have ours soon!

I'm not sure when I last updated, but at my last scan a couple of weeks we learnt that I was having a missed miscarriage, so was booked in for a D&C. Still upset by the loss right now but hoping to start TTCing again soon (no idea when my AF/ovulation will start again though).

Hello, everyone! I'm new to this forum and my husband and I are ttc for #1. This forum seems to be very informative and supportive. My husband and I are both 23 years old (soon to be 24) and we have been ttc since October; so this month (November) will be our 2nd month of trying. I just had some light brown spotting but only when I wipe (sorry TMI), and AF was suppose to start yesterday, November 3rd. I haven't had any symptoms other than some cramping on and off about 10 days before my period and those lasted about one week. I took a HPT 3 days before my period was suppose to start, so October 31st and it came out negative. Also, today, I've been having a sharp pain on my right side which I have never gotten when I'm going to start my period. I just wish I would get a BFP or that AF would come in full! I'm very impatient! LOL.

So I stopped my bcp more than 2 weeks ago and I haven't had any withdrawal symptoms or anything...is that normal? I am afraid my body is broken after 8 years of birth control...when will I ovulate again?
