Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

Laaazy day here for us as well! Fingers crossed Miss C goes down tonight without too much of a fuss.

Was going to have another delicious night on my own but one of my friends is having guy problems and needs someone to listen so I will be doing that tonight. Far too many of my friends are going through nasty stuff, I feel rotten for them. :(

Hope Hannah feels better soon Vickie!

I'm an idiot! :dohh:

I was trying to wish Miss Alora a happy birthday on FB and MIL was talking NON STOP. I saw Brig's post and then wished PEYTON a happy birthday. :dohh: :argh:

SO SO SO SO SO SO SO sorry Kate, only me would do that! :dohh:

:haha: Oh don't worry about it hun! You'd have to do a lot more than that to offend Kate. :hugs:

^Agreed! :D Honestly hun, I just got a good laugh out of the whole thing because I can TOTALLY understand how you did it! :haha: I always get jumbled up lately, my mind just isn't how it used to be!

OH and yeah, I totally agree - I HATE this time change! :growlmad: Stupidest idea ever IMO! Blah. I used to love it as a teenager, getting that extra hour of sleep!
But now it just blows. Both my girls were up at 6:30am (normally 7:30) and I really hope they get straightened out ASAP but I know in previous years, it took Kyree about a week to adjust. And now that I'm working, I really need my sleep and 6:30 does NOT work with my schedule! :nope: They usually wake up when it starts getting light out so that's another reason this time change sucks.
Oh, AND its now dark at like 5:30pm. Depressing. Okay I'm done whining. :haha:

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes for Alora. :cloud9: Her party went well today. Details are in my journal.
I'm just about ready for bed though! :haha::sleep:

Glad the party went well Kate!

:( Sorry to hear about your friend Tiff

We are doing quick baths and going to play a few board games with the kiddo before bed tonight

Helena is at a good age for the time change I think. Well she went to bed kinda late last night, so she slept till 8:30 old time :happydance:

Lazy day here. Went for a walk in the forest and Helena was a monster child. Hung out at home the rest of the time.

Gonna prob take a break from the internet for awhile, because I just get pissed off reading stuff. Not on here, more on FB, but I am too tempted to look at FB if I come on the computer. Gonna try and do some other stuff for a week.

:hugs: Wendy.

My sister's wedding was yesterday and so I have spent today being very lazy recovering from it. Andrew woke up about 7 (6 new time) so not bad. And he went for his nap at the right time, so bedtime and tomorrow morning should hopefully be fine.

J woke up at 7:30 (so 8:30 old time) which is normal, but it threw her... i put her to bed at 7ish (doing the whole new routine) because she was dead tired, and i couldn't keep her up another hour without seriously paying for it, and it wouldn't work to put her down for a nap only to try to put her to bed at a decent time... so i figure if she wakes in a bit i'll just go into the bedroom and lay with her till she goes back to sleep. BUT i risk her waking even earlier tomorrow.

having a rough day here with T. He doesn't get it. I don't know how to explain it to him nicely, so were not talking.

we'll miss you Wendy :hugs:

Glad the wedding went well Amanda! :) and glad that you got to have a lazy day recovering today

:hugs: Sara

we had fun playing games :) (well until the meltdown because the kiddo didn't want to go to bed :haha:)

I'll miss you Wendy! But I totally get it. ;) Sometimes I get really irritated reading stuff online too. And kind of miss the days when things were simpler, and people actually TALKED or hung out, and didn't just use the internet. Enjoy the break! :hugs:

I'm hoping tomorrow the girls will be back to normal with their sleep schedule. Between the time change and Alora's party, it was kind of all over the place today. But I put them to bed shortly after 8pm (new time) which is when they usually go to bed anyway so hopefully they'll sleep as long tomorrow morning despite it being light out earlier.

I may come on here, I DONT KNOW!! I probably should post here more because that kinda helps me keep my sanity, and maybe thats what I am missing. I do miss reading books and sitting in the bath tub (I do shower occasionally lmao, I mean the relaxation part) and stuff like that. I just get so stressed at night from overthinking and getting angry at offensive stuff online.

Elliot hasn't pooped for 5 days. Google says thats normal for BF babies. Seems weird to me. He has been farting the rankest farts of all time since not pooping, and I think I prefer poop. Does anyone elses baby not poop?

Anberlin didn't poop for 8 days before she started solids. I believe it it gets to the 2-week mark is when a doctor should be seen.

I'm sorry if it's my event that offends you, Wendy. It's not meant to offend anyone, but more like a freedom of speech thing, and what I explained yesterday. :) :flower:

Hope you come back soon though!

Oh no, that was very minor in my day of annoyingness lol. (I live with the 2 most racist asshole old people on the planet)

I gotta say, I would rather you just made a Christmas group where people could discuss Christmas, cuz then I would have joined!

Wendy, we have been on "poop watch" a few times here when Peyton was just on the boob. I think we got up to 7 days? But yes, like Brandi said, I read in one of Dr. Jack Newmans's books that they can go up to 2 weeks.

Alia pooped every day and usually several times a day when she was EBF. But her cousin I think once went 10 days without pooping and that was totally normal for him.
I think they say that during growth spurts babies tend to poop less because they're using more of the nutrients up or something like that

Wendy you should just come on here and boycott Facebook! :D

Poor Wendy! :hugs:
Okay, just finished my script revisions.
I would like to sleep for about 12 hours and then just wake up in Calgary with everything unpacked, the house cleaned, and dinner ready to go on the table.
One can dream.... :haha:

:hugs: Wendy, hopefully you can find a good balance.

Not much happening here today. Hannah seems better :yipee: and she slept until 7:10 so closer to "normal" time for us

I am considering starting working on cookie dough for Christmas but I'm not sure if I have enough butter :haha:

I hope you stay on here too wendy!

I really need to get my ass together and work on gingerbread, but having to entertain J all day makes it impossible!

It is gorgeous out there today! :) I could live with more November days like this

It is really nice out! I'm going to take Alia outside once she wakes up from her nap :D
