Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

Exciting day for you Reba, lol. Hope everything is okay though at the buildings w/ the fumes and what not.

Amanda, meant to send some hugs your way -- :hugs:... I know it must be overwhelming at times but I'm sure you are going to be an AWESOME twin-mommy (and mom of 3).. hopefully you'll have lots of helping hands too! :)

Off to work again tonight... did a naughty and went for a tan with my best mommy friend.. I watched the kids while she went and vice versa... it was sooo relaxing though...

Way to take charge, Reba!

I love tanning too Tasha, I rarely do it as its so bad for you. Sucks that almost everything I like is bad for me. :sulk:

Off to work as well in a few!

Getting a lot done today, surprisingly!
Managed to leave my purse at a cafe and had to drive halfway across town to retrieve it, but even with dumb things like that, I'm checking stuff off the ol' To Do list.
We just had a nice walk outside and now I am taking five before I tackle more housework.

Re: Duggars - I just don't care. Not my choice, that's for sure, but as long as all those kids are happy and loved, then that's cool by me.
My only hesitation with any of those TLC family reality shows is that there is a choice being made for the kids (thinking more of the Jon & Kate kind of shows here where the kids were so little when the show started) that I think is questionable. Essentially, you are selling your kids' privacy. That bugs me.
But I don't spend a whole lot of time worrying about it. Way worse things going on in the world.

Wow Reba that does sound like an exciting/busy day!

Glad you had a relaxing time tanning Tasha!

Hope work is okay for you and Tiff both :)

:wohoo: for getting your to do list done Sarah!

Yay for some relaxing time!
I enjoy tanning but much prefer to lay outside in the beautiful sunny weather to do it, but doing that this year wasn't so easy and I'm sure the next few years will be the same.

Duggars... I think if they are all happy then good for them, way too many kids for me though.

Glad you have been able to get lots accomplished today and were able to retrieve your purse Sarah.

Have a good night at work Tasha & Tiff.

Sounds like a busy day Reba, hope everything was sorted easily.

:argh: OMG tantrum city here. This is why my kid still naps because she's a freaking terror if she doesn't get enough sleep :argh:

Thank God she's on her way to bed

haha jasmine just gets totally crazy if she is tired. I have been having alot of trouble getting her to nap lately and then by 3pm she s red eyed and acts like a maniac haha

Yes everything got sorted out. Thankfully it wasn't a fire though! I hadn't showered and quickly threw on some 1/2 decent clothing to go out when the alarm went off. The joys of living in a condo ;)

Poor Vickie!
If Simon still napped, I'm sure his holy terror factor would be vastly improved! :)

Argh! Husband got a late call, so I'm puttin' in babycare overtime! :)
House is sort of a little bit cleaner, new writing project looks like a go, and I'm ready for a beer and maybe a movie? My brain needs a break! :)

Okay, need to go use the pressure hose on Tobe again. He has egg in his eyebrows.

:haha: By the time we got her down we were both annoyed with her but geez! Tantrum after tantrum after tantrum.

Hannah's meltdown zone seems to be anywhere from 4-5ish when she doesn't nap or doesn't nap long enough.

at least it is nice and quiet now

Hope hubby's call doesn't take to long Sarah!

Glad you got Hannah down! J went down early as she was having meltdowns too - they are probably not as bad as a toddler melt down but hey ho...

I better make tim something to eat before i get fired LOL

Cuteness!!!! :cloud9:
Tobe is playing very very seriously with his new wooden bulldozer from his grandpa, his little chubby cheeks all plump and cute.

Husband is on his way home with wine, rather than beer and we have a movie date planned in bed on my laptop.
Bliss.

Sounds like a good end to the evening Sarah.

Glad cranky kids are getting to bed so we can all have a bit of a break.

Soo jealous ... I want a wine and movie night. Or at least ice cream, but alas it will have to be cheese and crackers or peanut butter toast or something oh so not indulgent

Sorry for being over dramatic ... got a little carried away there

awwww Amanda - i wish you could have an indulgent treat. No wine for me either - and i'd LOVE a glass, but the bf'ing guilt gets me. i know its stupid. and we only have red in the house and i prefer white LOL

Nope, none here either. Like Sara, I'm guilted by the breastfeeding. I have some coolers in the fridge tempting me, but I'm not touching them. I wouldn't mind having one or two on Saturday night though. Anberlin will be at my mom's until the 20th, so I can just pump and dump that morning, and then get in the limo and go.

Oh man, I'm really going to miss her.

Re: Duggars - I think they have every right to have as many children as they want. I was never implying that they shouldn't either or that I had a "hate on" (which is a very strong term IMO). I just mentioned if it were ME I wouldn't even consider it. 19 kids, and the last one having all the health issues she did... I would have called it quits. ;)

So not much going on here. Another busy day at work and now I'm pooped. Wanted to go to the gym but just couldn't drag my lazy ass there. :nope:

I'm excited, my work Christmas party is this weekend and its always alot of fun. Last year I brought Alora along so only went for a couple hours, but this year I'm leaving the girls with my Mom so I'm looking forward to it. :)

Well I had gallbladder issues (which is what Mrs. Duggar (haha I dont know her first name) had) and went on to have Elliot and had a totally different pregnancy.

Also, I believe that most families in Canada have some sort of financial difficulties at some point, and it is pretty judgmental and hypocritical to say someone can't have kids because of that. I am poor right now, should I return Elliot to my womb?

Oh and 911...I called 911 once on a customer  She was PISSING ME off, SERIOUSLY. I almost decked her in the face. So, instead, I gave her a warning to back away from me or I would dent her face in or I would call 911. She kept aggravating me, so I called 911 and she ran away  I worked at San Francisco (or San Diego I guess in Ontario) and she was trying to return some stupid lava lamp that wasn't even from my store, it was from Walmart. She started shoving bobble heads into her kids backpack since I wouldn't give her the money back :haha: Man. Only me.

Thats about my only experience with 911.

Oh and I started to drink a glass of wine once in awhile at night, because #1 I cannot sleep some nights and that really helps me and #2 I am 6 ft tall and over 200 pounds. I am literally a man sized giant.
