Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

we play Mario together  Only on the weekends during Hannah's nap usually though and really enjoy it :)

I think we've played all of the ones that are out so far.

Hope everyone is having a good day and that being skyrimmed ends soon for you all :haha:

Blah, I'm getting sick. Woke up with a very sore throat. I gargled with salt water last night but it didn't seem to help.
On a brighter note I'm going out for dinner tonight with my SILs :D Hopefully the cold holds off a bit longer so I can taste the food

Hi ladies! New to this thread, but not to BnB. I was raised in Toronto, moved to Calgary in 2006, and now back to Ontario (Whitby) just 3 weeks ago! I'm 32+3 with our first and expecting a baby girl :)

Welcome Kristel and congrats!

Oh no, Melissa! Hope it goes away (or holds off) so you can enjoy your dinner tonight.

 Hi Kristel! Congrats on your pregnancy! There's some of us that aren't *too* far away from you on this thread. It moves fast but don't worry, just dive right in.

 No chance of me avoiding being Skyrimmed today. :haha: In fact, he's gone to pick up the Halo: Anniversary Edition that he's been drooling over as well (a friend bought it for him) and guaranteed it'll stay wrapped in its packaging for a good few months.

Sucks you're getting sick Melissa!!! I hope you feel better soon, and I hope to god you do not have what I have. I'm a week in and I'm STILL feeling like death. :nope:

Hi Kristel  congrats!

We are taking it pretty easy here today.

I hope you feel better soon Melissa :hugs:

Man are we all getting nailed with bugs this year, or what?

I was trying to decide the other day if I preferred colds or gastro bugs.
Gastro is way worse in the moment, but it's over pretty fast.
But man, in that moment when you're hanging over the toilet bowl, I'd pick a cold!

On the other hand, not sure that I'd classify a chest infection as a cold anymore. That might be in it's own category... :(

This pregnancy has been one never-ending cold. I swear it gets horrible for a week, then mostly better only to come right back again. Even now, I *think* it's gone, but am still congested, sneeze alot and cough occasionally. Ugh! However it does make me feel thankful that I am generally a healthy person.

In bed last night Shawn said he was worried that he might be getting a cold ... it was dark so he didn't see me roll my eyes.

I'm so lame. I got some mc ccafe coupons in the mail and am excited to use them ... I like their lattes actually :haha:

Another daycare day here and so I am in heaven ... a very pregnant achey heaven, but one without a toddler in it from approximately 9am-5pm.

I love McDonald's coffee too....I think they've done a great job with it... I like it better than Tim Horton's for sure.

I had a nap and I'm feeling better but I can still feel it in my throat. I think it might hold off till 6pm though :D

Whoah.
Just got slammed with the afternoon fatigue wave. I think I got less sleep than I realized last night.
Have to drag the boys up to the superstore to return some lovely rotten chicken that we bought yesterday.
Such a drag. I feel like asking them to compensate me for my time and gas money, while I'm at it. :growlmad:

So some of u read of J's fall in my journal. well the rail is on her crib now.. i put her in the crib to get dressed, and she friggin pulls her self to standing immediately :dohh: so now i have to lower the matteress too. she hasn't pulled up on anything else... yet

sorry about your yucky chicken Sarah - i hope you get some rest tonight.

Hope everyone feels better soon :hugs:

I agree MacDonalds coffee is pretty good and I like their cups better then Tim's.

Hope J's fall wasn't too bad Sara.

Yeah I am starting to really like McDonalds coffee too. I think its the espresso factor! lol

Sad day here in the Canada thread :(
I just feel so...sad.

:(

I just got a book full of coupens from mcdonals for all those coffees! I am definately going to try some :D

I agree ... sad day  Vickie has been on my mind all day. I just can't imagine it ... and it makes me scared too.

Amanda I don't think you have anything to be worried about. Mine was an early MC (Vanishing Twin Syndrome). :hugs:
