Really?!?!! The car is one of my secret tricks for getting Elyse to sleep! Works every time

She gets mad at red lights... or when we drive behind old people who are going like 30..

Oh LeeAnne is good for awhile in the car--like if she cant sleep (which rarely happens now) we throw her in the car and go for a drive and shes out! But anything more then 3 hrs and shes cranky as hell!
You would hate it in our town then where the speed limit is 60 and honest to gosh no one goes over 45! Drives me and OH insane because LeeAnne starts to scream, its like shes yelling GO FASTER DADDY!

Oh and we dont literally throw her in the car

I fell down the stairs last night..(thankfully NOT holding LeeAnne) and I cut up my face a bit, but I have a big rug burn RIGHT between my eyes, its all scabbed over..its terrible.. Totally off topic of dinky cars and legos , I know , but I had to whine to someone as OH is sick of hearing me whine about how silly i look with this rug burn right between my eyes!

I feel your pain.. I did that in grade school.. right before school pictures.. it was so ugly.. I'll try to find the picture but I think I had retakes done that year.. didn't stop me from being in the class photo like that though!!

OMG WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME TODAY!!! I swear my brain decided to stay in bed this morning when I got up!

I've been sitting here thinking why the hell does our living room smell like poop! I checked LeeAnne and shes clean so I've been wondering around trying to find the smell...only to realize...that after I changed LeeAnne's last poopy diaper I wrapped it up and left it sitting on the frickin coffee table beside the laptop...SERIOUSLY...where is my head today..SO GROSS! thankfully its all wrapped up BUT shes had the WORST poops today, like 4 already, and the smell is horendous..someone just shoot me, what a day!

What are we all doing for Victoria Day??

Think fireworks are out of the question with the baby It's too bad... I love them! And going to the fair

We took Alexa to the fireworks for mothers day-didn't phaze her any-and she would have been about the same age as Elyse at that point!

Victoria Day is the day after Alexa's first birthday, and her aunt (my best friend) is coming for a visit! I am soo excited about that (she lives an hour away )

Me too I just can't bring her to the salon with me really.. so I have to wait til Thursday when Andrew's mum has her so I can go to my gyno.. I'll make a stop there on the way to picking her up I guess. I've been saying I need them done since ohh.. Easter..

Its SUCH a gorgeous day here today! Its like 23 out! LeeAnne and I are sitting out on our patio! Shes in her bouncy chair just lovin the fresh air and I've got my feet up on one of our loungers! Tooooo comfy! I tell ya, this is my kinda life!
