My cat is about 6 years old male and was "done" when he was a kitten.
Recently I've seen him spray a few times in our garden. Has his snip stopped working as such?
Thanks!

No. Spaying or neutering an animal doesn't mean they stop "marking" their territory, and - far as I know - it doesn't come undone over time. He probably just smelled another cat from the neighborhood and wanted to make it clear that was his space :)

Ahh ok thank you, I've never seen him do it before so was a little worried. I know he's been really overprotective of our garden the past few months so that would explain it :flower:

Yep. As the previous poster said, it's probably just a territorial behavior. My male, neutered, cat once sprayed my dad's leg. 😂

:haha: omg that's funny! Bet your dad was just thrilled! That smell never comes out!

Just making sure your garden has his scent :). Hahaha I've the fear my cat will mark me when her bum is near my legs
