CD1 Starting clomid in 3 days... Let's Chat

At first I was scared that these would cause multiples, but now that I didnt get a BFP last month I kind of want to get one. I may have already asked you this and Im sorry Im asking again if thats the case, but did your OBGYN give this to you or an FS? I am trying to avoid seeing a FS bc I dont think my insurance covers it.

It was an FS. I dont think OBGYNs do this.

HCG Triggers only trigger the follicles that are large enough to be considered mature. So they can ONLY be given with follicle scans. So, they wouldnt cause multiples, because the doctor would make sure you have only one follicle. I didnt want multiples either so I made sure of this!!!

I cant find ANYONE as engaging, fun, and helpful as my TTC clomid buddies on this forum... Nobody participates, shares....UGH! So looks like Im going to wait on all of YOUR BFPs this month so we can start our own November/December due date chat! hahaha.

Hey girls! I got an hcg trigger shot yesterday for the first time too! I had an u/s and had two mature follicles (18 and 22) so I'm hoping I ovulate both to improve my chances of at least one! I would love twins but it probably won't happen. My obgyn did my shot, but we are living in Switzerland so things might be different here.

Me I'm good.....just trying to stay busy during this tww....i can't stand this part...I really want to test now but I know its way to early....I have been thinking of asking my Dr. to do a trigger shot if i don't get my bpf this month...i can't hurt right??? he does the scan on cd14 so i know i had two good eggs there.....i think i may test on the 14th....which is monday...i should around 10-12dpo by then.....i may try and wait till next friday but not sure i can wait that long lol

My OBGYN and I talked about multiples when I started clomid, she said that the injectables caused multiples, maybe she meant if you inject more than one time if you have more than one follie. I dont know. Maybe next time I see her I will ask her.

Amy, I sure hope you are right. I am not feeling to hopeful, had a bad night last night. You should take a look at my blog sometime How are you doing today? Going crazy in the TWW yet?

I like this forum too! Never been in one that was this engaging!! I've got my trigger shot ready to use as soon as I get a good follicle!! I went last month and my follicle was too small. if thats the case this time Im going to mention your case amber! its just such a long game for me. Im on my 8th day of provera and last time it took me like 18 days after that to start af then I finally get clomid. but hopefully this round my period will start sooner. I sure feel like it cramping and hormonal! but ive had that in the past theres nothing more aggravating than getting your bfn and then af not come right away so you can start again

Yes I am already going crazy in the TWW....but I will not leave this forum to move to a TWW....I am glad that we are all sticking together

I don't know a lot about the trigger shot but if it does cause multi's at this point i don't really care lol anything to get my bpf

This will be our 9th month ttc, 2nd on clomid, and first month with a trigger shot. It makes you have a positive hpt test so I took one this morning just to see two lines! I'm going crazy! But it can stay in your system for 10 days so I need to be careful about testing and getting a false positive.

Im telling ya.....if it does work on the first try Im asking ASAP!!! But maybe I won't have too....I hate to speak too soon but normally I have started cramping some by now...but no cramps yet!!!! So who know we will see

Wow. Lots of exciting things happening in here right now. I am glad to see so many positive thoughts flowing. I want a trigger shot! lol. Amber has us all wanting trigger shots since she got luck this month. I think that if I don't get a bfp in the next few months I am going to go to a fertility specialist and have the whole routine done. Clomid, follical scan, trigger shot.

I am doing ok this month. I am having some pretty strong OV pains right now which is surprising since I am not on clomid. I am already on CD8 and have not even THOUGHT about poas yet. I am waiting for my shipment of 50opk/50hcg tests. They should be arriving any day. I think that when they come I will have no choice but to start POAS.

I am really glad to hear that so many people enjoy this forum. I have noticed that many other forums are pretty dead most of the time. We have a small group of women on here who check in pretty regularly and I absolutely love it. We are like family! I hope that you all get your BFP this month. I would love to have us be able to shift over to a pregnancy forum together. Everyone is welcome to stay here no matter what stage you are at. TTC, TWW, First Tri. It doesn't matter. You're all welcome always!!!

I am to the antsy part on the tww.....i am cd21 now and my cycle is usually only 26-28 day's.......knowing what day i am on drives me insane b/c it seems so close but SO far away!!!!! HELP IM LOOSING CONTROL lol!!!!!!!
