child trust fund account with halifax

hi ladies, have opened up a child trust fund account for my lo at the halifax and recieved a letter the other day to say they have recieved the application however i havent been sent a savings book or anything - do child trust fund accounts have them or do they arrive in a couple of weeks? xx

you might not get a book, you might get a certificate? Give them a call and find out x

oh right, i thought we`d get like a savings book so we could keep track of how much lo has in it xx

if they're not high traffic accounts it's not cost effective to issue a passbook, you'll get an annuall certificate instead (sorry if i sound like a geek, i work for YBS )
