Christmas 2016 babies!

LOL. I got my BFP on Monday, I'm due Dec 25, and I'm 42. This is my 2nd. First was DD 22 years ago. Congrats to u!

I'm due December 30th so a little after. #3 for us, we have an 8 year old DS and a 1 year old DD :)

Congratulations both of you :) I'm sure your daughter will be quite excited once she's got used to the idea :)

Ugh I am really struggling with nausea today. It's really distracting me from work and it's making lunchtime come around so slowly! I have been eating biscuits to try and help but it doesn't really seem to be working. I had forgotten how awful MS is and I haven't even got it that bad yet :(

I didn't get any ms with ds, this time around I'm feeling nauseous quite regularly. I'm finding keeping mints handy helps, I've got packets everywhere!

I have ginger hard candies that have saved me from puking several times in front of my classes. Got them on Amazong. Gin gins.

Hm maybe I'll have to get some mints or ginger sweets. I am not a massive fan of ginger though, the thought of it makes me want to be sick ha. My tastes have changed loads already too - I want to eat salty things instead of sweet (I'm usually a massive chocolate fan). I ate loads of crisps when pregnant with DS, think it's going to be the same this time!

Hey ladies! So sorry for the ms! I'm too early for that yet but is feel like I am going to the bathroom non-stop!! I admittedly am not the best at drinking enough water so what could be causing this! Surely a baby the size of a seed is not producing this much fluid! Lol

I had the same for the first few weeks BSelck! I have no idea why it happens but that was one of the first things I noticed

I am terrible at drinking water too. I had been tring to be better about it even before getting pregnant but struggle because I work at a coffee house and we get 3 free drinks a day and are encouraged to use them all. So being a coffee addict plus getting free drinks is not good for healthy eating habits.

Im having a day off work today as I'm feeling so wiped out. DS is at nursery so I'm just having a chilled out day in front of the tv :)

I managed to blag a half day so am also home in front of the tv now with ds in nursery!! :)

Rose and Oneday- sounds perfect! My husband is off today so although my son is home, I'm glad to get some help today! He's at the gym now, but when he gets back I want to run errands BY MYSELF lol

Sorry I don't get a chance to post a lot.

A day off work sounds lovely, I wish I was doing the same, however I have my 8 week scan tomorrow so looking forward to that is helping the time pass today :happydance:

Hope you both feel better for it, and BSelck24 enjoy doing your errands on your own :) x

Hi ladies, a day off does sound wonderful. I've been so tired the last few days, I can't wait until the weekend! Today, I"m stuck at work, and I think MS is starting to kick in...I just want to close my door until it's time to go home.

littlemiss, that's so exciting that you have your scan tomorrow!!

I'm counting down the days to the end of the school year here. Only two more class weeks and then finals! I'm SO ready to be done writing lectures the night before. Yesterday I did go home and lay down for 20minutes before continuing to work from there before picking DD up from daycare. Wish I could nap everyday! WHen I was pregnant with DD, I had a lot of flexibility in my job and would often get in a 20-30min nap before DH got home from work. Being a new professor doesn't really allow for that though...

Hello ladies! How is everyone doing? I'm 6 weeks today and feeling pretty good. My sleepiness seems to have gone away and no morning sickness yet. I know I'm just getting to the stage where MS ramps up but I didn't have any with my dd so I'm hoping I get off just as lucky this time. I hope everyone is feeling well as well.

Just for curiosity's sake...where is everyone from? I'm from a teeny tiny town in south eastern Ohio in the US.

I'm a high school special education teacher and we now have four more weeks until summer break and I CANNOT wait! I'm excited to spend the summer with my 2 year old daughter.

Littlemiss enjoy your scan :) mine is a week tomorrow!

I've had my booking in appointment through today. It's next Friday! Yay!!

It must be lovely having the holidays to spend with your daughter :) luckily I don't work full time so I have a day off and 2 mornings off in the week to spend with DS but I wish I had more holiday - it will be difficult when he goes to school and I can't be off all summer :(
