Christmas 2016 babies!

Told students already today as the shirt i wore yesterday was too short and several noticed my maternity jeans when I was leaning over tables in lab (college kids notice stuff). Since this is number 2, I'm already showing pretty significantly. was able to find Baby's HB with my at-home doppler last night, so decided it was ok. I teach at a very religious school and asked all my students to pray. They all clapped- it was adorable.
lindsay, I'm in the twin cities. Headed to OH this summer for a family reunion this summer though... in Hocking Hills. Never been there, but it looks beautiful.

How long do you teachers get off for the Summer? I'm a teacher in the UK and we break up for 6 weeks at the end of July.

My bean's birthday just moved nearer to Christmas as an early scan put me at 7w4d rather than 8w2d. Saw the heartbeat !

It was great, especially after losses. I've never seen a heartbeat before. Just desperate for the next scan now.

I am so jealous! I am feeling so bad at the moment, I have no idea how I'll get through another 7.5 months of work!! Luckily I know the symptoms will (hopefully) subside in another month or so. I just have a 3 day week this week due to the bank holiday, then I am away for 2 weeks so I'm hoping by the time I go back I'll have started to feel better. It is very difficult to hide a pregnancy when I work in a very small office with only 2 other people - I hope to god I'm not sick at work or they will definitely hear!!

My scan was good, they only put me back by 1 day and not much to see but we got to see the heartbeat so all good.

I'm very close to Hocking Hills! It is absolutely beatufiul, I'm sure it will be a great time.

My summer break will go from May 28-Aug 21st. I've been counting down the days lol

I had my first prenatal appointment yesterday! We saw the heartbeat but it was still too small to actually hear. My doctor was awesome and kept trying to get the sound to pick up but no luck. We were able to see the teeny tiny flicker of the heartbeat though! I felt like Rachel from friends...I was having trouble seeing the baby lol. I did finally see it though. My doctor labeled me as high risk again because I ended up with high blood pressure with my first baby, so I will be going back in a couple weeks to check on the progress. I think I'll breath a little easier after that appointment.

I'm still lucking out with no morning sickness but I know there's still plenty of time for that!

I was able to pick my LOs hearbeat on my at home Doppler at 9wks and that was really hard... I tried again this morning (9+5) and found it but for only about 5 seconds and then lost it
So happy you referenced Friends I own all ten seasons and recently freaked out a student by guessing which episode she was watching based on the shirt Rachel was wearing. I was just happy to see current college kids enjoying the show as much as I do
