It's a tough one They're probably a bit old for little soft toys?
What about having a look for sweets in the allergy (not the right word, I can't think) aisle of the supermarket? I know Sainsburys do dairy free chocolate lollies with characters.

B and M bargins have a large card (expensive looking) Peppa Pig photo album in for £2.99 They look like you could easily put another £10 on it. Suitable for boys and girls.

Ive bought one for all the little ones (los friends) and am going to print photos of the playing together and put them in. Cost me less than £4 each and so personal and I cannot stress how good the quality is.

I literally cannot find these books online so cannot give you a link. But I went back and bought all of the from my local shop today!
