Wrapped Gifts - our family screw up the paper and throw them at each other afterwards.

Real for sure, just love the smell that radiates around the house when you have a real one, just don't like the mess they create!

No more than a few weeks before Christmas Day, otherwise it ends up getting pretty droopy and worse for wear by the big day.

4. When do you take your Christmas tree down?
12 Days after Christmas, like you're meant to!

5. Do you like egg nog?
Don't think I've ever tried it, it's not a big thing here.

6. Do you have a nativity scene?
No I don't. I'm not religious, so it's not the type of thing I'd put up in my house.

7. Favourite gift received as a child?
My mountain bike probably, when I was about 9 or 10, rode around on that thing until darkness fell every night.

8. Hardest person(s) to buy for?
My dad who doesn't ever give you any ideas and can never show that he is happy with what you got for him, he can't even pretend. I have only ever gotten him one present that he was genuinely stoked to get, 2 years ago.

9. Easiest person to buy for?
My sister, anything Disney Princess. Plus my mum who tells me exactly what she wants.

10. Worst Christmas gift received?
Probably any smellies, bath bomb type things. If you knew me you would know they end up at the back of the bathroom cupboard, never to be seen again!

11. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Mail cards, they are lovely to be able to hang up over the mantel. It's nice to get something in the mailbox that's not bills or junk mail as well.

12. Favourite Christmas movie?
Home Alone, I watched that heaps growing up.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
As early as possible, I've already got some things. I don't like crowds, so need to get things done well in advance.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
No I don't think so.

A nicely done ham with some sort of delicious glaze.

Coloured Lights.

I think we have a star for our one, but growing up we had a star and an angel and used to alternate each year.

Christmas Morning. The first time I heard that people opened some gifts on Xmas Eve was on here. It must not be done here much.

Ella will have her first Santa Sack and she'll be 2 so she'll understand a lot more of what's going on and probably be super excited!

Fake all the way for me. I have a cat and a 2 year old, a real tree would be quite dangerous! Plus I don't like them, they're always oddly shaped and not symmetrical and I would literally have to trim the branches so they matched

Tegan definitely! Finding a main present for a child with physical impairments (can't walk or stand at all and can only army crawl) is a HUGE problem, she can't have bikes, big play kitchens, anything that involves any kind of standing..
