Christmas thread when?

I don't think we will be doing a main present this year. No one has really mentioned anything big or expensive yet. The little two have got in to star wars and Lego again so think we'll be going down that route. Ds1 will be video games mostly. Ds2 is always the hardest. He's mostly in to his sports but there's only so many pairs of boots and kits you can buy haha

We're doing bikes as main presents this year for DD and DS. DD had a bike last year, but we massively underestimated which size to get and as a result shes already outgrown it! #parentfail :dohh:
However she did manage to learn on it without any stabilizers this summer, and I think if she had a bigger one last year that would've taken twice as long.. so not all bad.
DS hasn't had a bike since his 2nd birthday and it is WAY too small. I think its a 12" and he now needs a 16"! Hopefully the new ones will last them a good 2 years.

DS2 will only be 3 months old by Christmas so will just be doing a santa gift probably so that DS & DD aren't confused as to why santa didn't bring anything for their brother :haha:

Ds2 and ds4 were only 2 months at their first and we did the same

Wow
Peppa Pig Wooden Playhouse - Peppa Pig UK

I think this might be Niko's main Christmas present this year.
I cant really justify spending £100 on essentially a bit of wood! But I think he will get hours of play out of it, Rio too actually as they pretend play together a lot.
That looks awesome! I paid about $100 Canadian for a cheap plastic one that wasn't electronic at all. That one is so much better!

Boots 3 for 3 Xmas shop online ladies

I'm also struggling for main prezzies this year, the kids haven't said anything! My 5 year old is only into roblox at the moment and he has all the sets anyway, my 7 year old daughters getting back into the really difficult Lego which is a start, and we actually have no Lego here atm as no ones been into it for ages so I gave it away! OH wants to buy the two real RC cars as main presents they are over a £100 each for the small ones, but it's his hobby and the kids love it, so I said I'm not spending that on them cars you can do what you like with your money hahaha

Been keep checking for some Christmas chatter on here! It’s nice to see the same faces each year.
I’ve not started for Christmas yet but I am pretty much done for my youngests birthday this month so will be starting soon. He will be 7 this year, I first came on the grotto threads when he was a newborn!! Crazy!

Oh leonie, another grotto regular. It's so good we all come back at Christmas :xmas3:

<3

Oh I would love to join in. Dd is 6 and I have no clue what to get her this year ! I’ve got 5 small wrap ups for her so far but struggling to think what else to get her

Hey! It's great seeing the same faces every year.

What would you suggest to get an 11 month old? He's not drawn to anything in particular just yet.

Ds1 was 10 months at his first Christmas and we got a ball popper toy, and Fisher price little people (which proved popular for years with all of the boys. They still use the vehicles on the beach) ds3 was 9 months and we got him one of those bike things you push along, and my mum got him a little rocking cow things.

We got Niko happyland for his first birthday (I know that's not Christmas lol, but he was only 5 months at his first Christmas) and it gets played with SO much by both kids. Again the following Christmas and his 2nd birthday we added to his collection too, he now has a whole village and its adorable. 6yo Rio plays with him too with it, and so do I!
Also got a shape sorter and stacking rings and some other general 'baby' stuff that he never really bothered with!
