Good luck Mrs. JennyG! I am a bit (!) obsessive and also do OPKs in conjunction with the monitor, but I use internet cheapies. In the two months I've been doing this, both times I got a + OPK the afternoon or evening before my first peak.
Sherbut, I know a million highs are frustrating. If you read the reviews on amazon though, there are plenty of women who got BFPs after a month full of highs, no peaks! Also, you are only on CD 13 right? Still plenty of time to peak. I got my first peak ever on CD 17, then last month on CD 16 (typical cycle length is 28-30 days). I think the readings also depend on the sensitivity of the sticks and every box is a little different. My first box, I only got 2-3 highs before my peak. I am using a new box this time around, and I'm on my 4th high so far. I only had one low this time, which is really abnormal for me.
Minipoo, don't worry. I doubt you actually ovulated on CD 10 - that would give you a 18-19 day luteal phase which is really long. Ovulation can occur 12-48 hours after the peak, with the average being ~ 36 hours after peak, so you still have a very good chance having BD'ed on the first and second peak days. Do you also chart? It's the best way to confirm your ovulation date. Now that you know you peak early, at CD 10, you can plan for next month and start BDing earlier..
AFM, I'm on CD 13, my fourth high. Today is the first stick that looks totally faded/pale, so I'm just waiting for the LH line to show up now. My guess is tomorrow (FX!) or the next day. I'm hoping to O a little early this cycle - last time I O'ed on CD 16, the time before that it was on CD 17.
