cocoa powder

Silly question maybe but is cocoa powder that you bake with the same thing as drinking chocolate powder?

No. Drinking chocolate has other things added (sugar is one) and doesn't give such a good chocolate flavour to cooking. You can use cocoa to make hot chocolate though, just mix with hot milk and you can add sugar to taste if you like.

No. You need cocoa powder because its normally stronger.

Cocoa powder is like the pure powdered cocoa beans; drinking chocolate has loads of stuff added to make it sweet and mix with milk better. Any cocoa powder will do though; I don't notice much difference between pricey branded ones and cheap value range ones tbh xx
