Contractions..

I know everyone says u get pain in your lower bump n back..

but ive had a few really bad pains in my upper back, like where my ribs are. They last about 20-30 seconds and take my breath away when they come, ive got mild pains in my lower bump but nothing compared to the back pain.

Im going 2 start timing them now but i had 2 in about 2 minutes not long ago..

Could it b contractions? Can you feel the pain in your upper back? x

I've really no clue as I don't remember having anything higher up while in labor but really, who knows, ha. Keep that clock handy and time everything. I would guess that the 'higher up' stuff is maybe braxton hicks but then again you are 38 weeks so this really could be IT.

Yep sounds like it. They do take your breath away. I know mine did. I didn't even want to breath it hurt. Not everyone contracts the same to be honest. Just time your pains and when they are 5 mins apart I would go in. Though since I am getting an epi ill be going in sooner.
