cost of progresterone test

does anyone know how much it usually cost for cash payment? insurance doesnt cover it. i got the lab script already just need to do the lab work.

Mine costs $65. My insurance doesn't cover it, but I still get the insurance discounted rate since my doctor runs it through the insurance, waits for the denial and then sends me the bill. In the end, my discounted rate is about $38.

If you need to pay for it strictly cash, make sure you ask for the "cash discount" and pay for it at the time of service. You can generally get at least a 25% discount.

I'm in WA State.

Did you get your test results yet? I got mine yesterday and my doctor said my progesterone is low and ovulation is doubtful.

He does mine on CD 25, which I find strange.

My progesterone level test at my clinic was $75. My FS gave me a discount though and I only paid $41.50.
