Do you just work weekends lorna?
Im glad its a bit cooler today i hope it is cool for the night time to. Trying to sort a routine out now. we had one a few weeks a go but its seems to be up and down so trying to sort it out a little especial for when im at work and my parents and friend has him .
Hope everyones ok.
I cant believe caleb will be 7 months old on saturday.
Glad i have a job know so we can have a good xmas ( even if i am worrking) and not have to worry about money xx

Well we shut the cat in the garage and opened every window and door upsatirs last night and got it down to 24 degress in Dewi's room so he managed a good night ... well back to our normal one wake before midnight for a little fuss and a pat and a bottle at half 1.

Mind you it took me nearly 45 mins of screaming to get him down he was even sick so i had to change his sheets!

Faye, I work most weekends

Im glad Caleb slept better last night :D Im glad its cooler today too, I cant beleive how fast time is flying I said to DH last night I couldnt beleive Emilie was nearly 7 months  How are you doing?

Charlie, Im glad Dewi slept better last night too :D sorry Dewi was sick though & it took a while to get him down :hugs: How are you?

Whats everyone up to?

I take Emilie to get weighed this afternoon than thats it for me today apart from the usual tiding & stuff

im fine thanks lorna, looking forward to my new job.
Oooh wonder how much emilie weighs.
Im just relaxing to today im always doing something so going to stay at home xx

Faye, did you get a start date yet?

Emilie is 19Ibs 7oz

aww yey for emilie. I start 5th july for training but not sure which weekend i start x

Yay for weight lol

I had Hv on the phone today (havn't been since he was 4 months lol) but she just wanted to arrange his x ray for his hip so that'll get done when we get back from hols. Hoping all is ok. I have noticed he doesn't tend to use one leg as much and it's stiffer if that makes sense  Though I only noticed from the hv said so could be me imagining things!

I can't believe how quick all our LO's are growing! I see wee teeny newborns and think nah he was never that small lol Its amazing how much they learn so quickly as well!

Hope everyone is ok! xx

Sorry to hear all the babies haven't been sleeping very well. Jake's not been too bad although we've had him just in a sleepsuit and a nappy and had the windows open all day to get some air through. Monitor says it's 25 degrees in his room - yes, as of 2 nights ago he is in his own room, he seems to quite like it.

Still no teeth here either, I thought he might be getting some on Monday as he was mega grumpy - screamed in the car on the way to swimming, all the way there, he never does that, usually puts himself to sleep after 5 mins or just plays with his rattle, but I think he was just hot and bothered as swimming seemed to help, although he was grumpy in the evening too. Gave him a little bit of calpol to go to bed with, just in case, he slept well, woke up a couple of times but just switched him mobile on with the remote control (direct line from our bed if we leave the doors open!) I only went through to him once to feed him, and he seemed much better yesterday.

I go back to work on 5 July as well, not looking forward to it, feel like I'm abandonning him or somthing. Charlie, or Nic if you're around - please tell me it's not really that bad.

It really isnt that bed hun, it's actually quite nice to have a break from them and have some adult company.

It makes the time with them even nicer even when they're grumpy because you appreciate it more.

Hey ladies!

Hot, sticky nights are no fun with babies. Our room is a consistent 27-28 degrees at the moment, even with the windows open and fan on. It's horrible and Esmé's really not sleeping well (not that she's a particularly good sleeper anyway) so I sympathise!

Faye & JayDee - well done on the jobs girls, exciting AND scary eh? I'm really panicking about going back to work, even though I know it'll be really good getting a little bit of 'normality' back. Esmé cries when other people hold her and works herself up so much even though I try to socialise her as much as possible. I've got visions of her crying the whole time she's away from me  I'm having no luck finding a childminder I click with either.

Chuck - I hope these hot nights are over soon so we can get some kip!

Lorna - How are you finding the return to work? Emilie's gained weight really well hasn't she! :happydance:

SweetLullaby - I hope Matthews hip is ok :hugs:

How's everyone else?

Sweetlullaby, I hope everything is ok with Matthews hip :hugs::hugs: How are you?

Jaydee, I agree with Charlie its good to get some adult company :hugs: How are you?

Charlie, How are you doing?

Elizabeth, Sorry Esmé is sleeping well :hugs: how are you?

Returning to work was fine it was like I never left :haha:

How is everyone?

Im ok here stressing out a bit about holidays and packing and getting everything organised! It's amazing how much stuff I need with me for Matthew! We go on Sunday for two weeks so probably won't be on BnB very much if at all lol Just in case anyone wonders where I am :haha:

Matthew's been pretty grumpy the last few days not fun at all! think it's a mixture of the heat being so sticky and teething :dohh:

Also won't be on much when I get back because I'll be moving into my flat :wohoo: Can't wait lol

Sweetlullaby, I bet you cant wait for the holiday or the flat! :D Sorry Matthew has been grumpy :hugs:

Its been quiet on here lately how is everyone & the Lo's?

Holidays and moving into your new flat - how exciting, SL!!! :happydance: hope it all goes well.

We're ok here Lorna, still struggling with the heat though. How are you guys doing?

What have people got planned for the weekend? We've got a friends 30th birthday BB tomorrow, which should be nice

Elizabeth, Im glad your ok :flower: sorry your struggling with the heat though :hugs: Sounds like your in for some fun tomorrow :D

Im working the weekend thats about it for me, were doing good thanks :flower:

Thanks for the reassurance about work ladies, sure I'll be ok, it's thinking about it that's worse.

Hope you enjoy your holiday SL, and a new flat to come back to, yey!

Not sure if it's cos he's in his own room or cos he's getting 3 solid meals a day but Jake's sleeping well this week. I'm only having to go to him and feed him once at about 4am. Bonus!

Still warm here, hopefully will stay nice tomorrow as I'm going to the races for a hen do.

Hope you all have nice weekends, I'll try and be back soon but not sure when with work x

we are really trying to sort out calebs routine for when my parents and outr friend watch caleb on the weekend.
Caleb is only having 4 bottles of 5ozs now of stage 3. I have even bought some of the stage 2 jars but im going to start doing my own veg now even if its just me and caleb that eats it.
He is really trying to crawl. i dont think he will do it properly yet but its funny to see his bum in the air and push his body forwards. hope everyones is ok xx
