Hi ladies!!! Just wanted to let you know we have 77 December babies so far!!!! What a month it will be!!!

I updated the list to what I have so far and wanted to say a late Happy Scan day to Margie as I updated it too late!!!!

So, HAPPY SCAN DAY LINSEY AND BELATED TO MARGIE!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR!!!

i had my scan friday the 4th and i am not as far along as i thought im only 9 weeks where i thought i was almost 11 weeks well its ok! my new due date is now 12/12/12 lol thats a good # huh? the heart beat was a high 165 still hopeing for a GIRL! i know it may be a myth but the higher heart rat its a girl lol my son was always in 145-155 range i dont think i can post my scan pic yet but i will try i just need to reply on a few more post thanks everyone

Hey Jezzielin, my appointment is also on May 17th and i will be 8 weeks and 6 days pregnant. It sounds like our due dates are going to be pretty close together! This is my first and my due date is supposed to be the 22nd of Dec. 2012

brandiw, I'm so sorry for your loss. Hang in there.

Girls, my tsh levels were 6.18, so my doctor referred me to an endocrinologist. I read online (I wish I hadn't done this) that hypothyroidism during pregnancy can cause lower IQ, mental ******ation, deafness, etc. I'm so worried that I started the meds too late. However, I can't turn back time, so what's done is done. I took my first dose of synthroid today, so hopefully everything will be ok.

I'm posting this because I hope someone else on here has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism during pregnancy and ended up having a healthy baby. I just need some reassurance.

Hey Pfab! I have been recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's causing hypothryoidism and I am on synthroid as well. My Hashi's was triggered by post partum thyroiditis after having my son. I have met and talked to many women on here that are hypo and go on to have great, successful pregnancies. The good thing is that you are on your meds now and you are doing what you need to do and your levels aren't too far off the norm so it shouldn't take long to get back to normal.

Some important things I have learned about taking the meds is to take them on an empty stomach with a full glass of water and do not eat until 2 hours after. I take my synthroid at 6:30am everyday and then eat at 8:30am. Also do not take your prenatals at the same time as they will counteract the synthroid. I take mine 12 hours later at night. I have my levels checked every 4 weeks so that we are able to adjust the meds if anything is out of order. My endo is great and is really on top of my treatment!

If you have questions feel free to ask...I am def not an expert as it is still really new to me as well but I can be here for support!

I was hoping to join in, I am 8 weeks pregnant and this will be my second pregnancy i lost my first at 10 weeks so i am so nervous and we are not telling anyone this time until we are 12 weeks.. I am excited but i am so worried.. i have my 9 weeks scan on 17/05/12 so i only have a week to go i did however have a early scan at 7 weeks heartbeat was 132 and Dr said looks really good and chances of having losing another is very slim i am just praying this is the one and we will get our December baby.. congrats to you all and looking forward to hearing from you all.. xx

So jealous of all you ladies having scans. Mine's not for another 5 weeks (13th June)!! Not sure I can last that long. May get a private one but have so many other expenses this month, car insurance, tax, all the fun stuff!! The cheapest I can find local is £100. We'll see.

I go back for my next scan on Thursday May 17. I will be 10+1 then. I have had a few good days as far as the nausea and vomiting go- so hopefully it will stay gone...

I'm Kerry PG with Bouncing Baby number 3, My due date is 19th December I have a son aged 8 and a baby girl 9 months old, I am 8 weeks PG, feeling tired but really well otherwise. I have my first midwife apt on 15 May when I will be a day off 9 weeks, should have my first scan and Obstetric apt with a doctor at 12 weeks. great to see a forum that has people on it that speak to each other and reply, I am a member on another site and no one speaks to anyone on there or hardly replies to someone if they have a problem, so I am really pleased about B&B site.
