DECEMBER MAMA'S! What's your name? When's your scan!?

Well after some light bleeding last night and again this morning I decided to ease my mind and go to the hospital. They sent me for an ultrasound and I am very happy to say I finally got to see my baby!
The person doing the ultrasound (who may or may not be a doctor - this is China!) said I am 7 weeks. But then later the doctor said no eight weeks. First person spoke much better English so think I may stick to that for now.
Been told to go back in a month again and by then I will be able to take a Chinese speaking person with me so I can have all my questions answered!
But for now - I saw my healthy, growing baby and I don't have to wait until next week to go!!!

Here is a scan of my little peanut! She/he has a strong heartbeat at 159 per minute, I saw the heartbeat flicker on the screen, and I heard it! Awesome moment!

Had my first appointment today. Scan revealed a heartbeat and an 8 week old baby. And I heard those magical words "yes, there's only one in there."

Brit...when was your first scan? I had one at 6.3 weeks and I keep feeling like they missed one. I have been really sick compared to my last pregnancy and I feel huge already! I just can't shake the feeling that their could be 2 in there. I am like you...I wish there was 2! You are really lucky!
