DECEMBER MAMA'S! What's your name? When's your scan!?

My name is Linsey and I am due with my second baby December 17th. My first scan is May 7th, it feels like that is years away. Super excited, but still nervous. This is such a great site, I just found it yesterday.

I know what you mean about being a nervous wreck. I'm on progesterone suppositories so there is an abundance of leakage down there So I feel wet down there all the time and when I go to the bathroom, my heart always stops thinking I'm gonna see blood and just assumed it was the progesterone or something. But seeing the heartbeat is GREAT that lessens the chances of MC a lot I go back for a scan @ 7+5 to see the heart beat, I had a scan at 5+4 (doc office called it 5+3??, but I am counting day 1 the day after IUI day) Anyways, all I could see the sac and yolk... I'm sure we will have sticky lil beans and H&H pregnancies

I know what you mean about being a nervous wreck. im not on progesterone but i know what you mean im terrified to run to the loo incase i see blood im constantly checking all the time its like an obsession and if i am out somewhere and feel wet tmi! i just wont settle til i check and see everything is ok, thank you i am definately alot more relieved that everything looked fine and that i could see the heartbeat because i never got to that stage last time so i am hoping that is a sign that the risk is lowered but i suppose theres no guarentee i think once you have a mc you just never let yourself relax fully i wont relax until 12weeks and then il probly start worrying about something else! i know it must be scary not seeing the hb but my dr said its really unlikely to see anything around 5weeks so it was great that you could see the sac and yolk so hopefully you will see a real difference at your next scan keep me updated how it goes and yes fingers crossed we all get our healthy little christmas babies

Thanks ruby! yes i hope these are our rainbow babies i keep seeing rainbows everywhere so hopefully its a sign! lol its our first wedding anniversary on may 28th so i would love to get our 12week scan around then so we can tell everyone and celebrate keep me posted on how your scan goes! good luck

I'm laurajo I'm 7 weeks today I made the 5th December my due date I had scan week ago so 6 weeks and saw heartbeat iv got another scan on 25th April to see if he she has grown as is small for how developed it was pole measured 4 half weeks xx

I have been having some pain in my hip area... sciatic pain! It happens mostly when I lay on my side at night tho.

GOOD NEWS!!! Awww, you saw the little baby's heartbeat I worry about every little thing too so you are not alone! I just constantly tell myself to stay optimistic no matter what!

Hi ladies. My scan went great today- doctor said everything is looking great. We were able to see the heartbeat too...I'm not feeling so hot right now- i havent been able to keep much down the past 2 days. Doctor estimates my due date as December 12

I have been having some pain in my hip area... sciatic pain! It happens mostly when I lay on my side at night tho.

Thanks so much! i have been having that at night too its so good to hear others are having aches and pains too it makes it abit more reassuring! i just hope we all get to the 12week stage and we can really relax and enjoy everything

congratulations! its great you saw hb too! im the same very naseous and im panicking im not eating enough but hopefully the prenatal vits will b fine for us until we feel better, i keep telling myself its a healthy sign!

Yeah don't worry, it's completely normal. The 2nd trimester is right around the corner....
