Do First Time Mummies get to celebrate mothers day?

Its not until May 12 here in the USA, and Im due a month after so hopefully we will celebrate it. Im also due 2 days after Father's day which so happens to be my dads birthday!

I was wondering the same thing about my DH. So I mentioned to him that I'll have to do something for him for Father's Day, just to fish out his thoughts on the matter. And, being the blunt guy that he is , he said, "That's just stupid. It doesn't count until there really is a baby." haha That's right, there's an imaginary creature in my belly So I think it's safe to say I'll be waiting until next year. Which is fine.

I don't have an OH so I won't get any cards or anything. But I might take bump out for lunch depends how I'm feeling about it. Would be nice to celebrate it.
