That's what I wanted them for too! I've decided just to do round crayons in my existing tins rather than spend a small fortune on a tin to do a money-saving project in.

im sure i saw some on ebay for about £4...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silicone...arden_Kitchen_Cookware_GL&hash=item3f088153b7
£4.60
would take FOREVER for delivery though...

i may try that fudge recipe needless to say though it probrably wont go too well..

My first go at the fudge created a fudgy caramel (which was "wrong" but YUMMY on ice-cream!). Latest attempt was good though!

I'm going to try that fudge recipe :)

I tried the crumbly fudge the other week. It tasted nice but I prefer "normal" fudge. Also I burnt it slightly (not that u could taste the burnt) so I'm going to have to be more careful next time!

BRAIN WAVE: We could just use those cellophane bags to put the bath salts in. Iv already got some for my fudge and cookies I'm going to make :happydance:

i wanted it to do some crayons for my mates boy xx

The pound shops do silicone tray moulds in different shapes like hearts, stars and mini bears. I was going to get some for Lucas' crayons but like Tiggertea I saved the pennies and did round ones :haha:

Hey! Can I join? I've read most of this thread and it has made me reeeally excited for christmas :D Money is a bit tight this year and I love the idea of making my own presents.

I'm going to make snowman soups for my friends, sister and BIL. Does anyone have any pics of how to present snowman soup in a mug? I like the idea of it being in a mug, but would like to see how it would work.

Also, silly, question... but, how many portions of snowman soup are in a cellophane cone? I'm just asking, as I'm sure there are more than one portion in each cone... and I don't understand how all the ingredients don't mix up together?

I'm definitely making fudge and truffles for my dad and FIL. I made fudge last year, but have never attempted truffles before!

can anyone help me?

i have a photograph of me and my aunt and i want to do something to it to give it as a present to her for christmas, how do i fancy it up? i have loads of colorful card, card making supplies, a laminating machine, and a photoframe, any help?

Just read through this whole thread and its given me some great ideas! Just thought I'd add mine too - I'm going to buy some of those "frameless" frames (can't think what they're called lol) and make photo collages of DS for both sets of grandparents. Probably do one for me while I'm at it lol

Does any one happen to know a recipe for a sugar free or a low sugar fudge? I would love to make some for my dad but he is diabetic... :(

Couple here, but I have never tried them so can't say how good they'll be....

little poem for pots of gold

Pot of Gold
Here’s a little pot of gold,
A festive nibble too,
I hope that it will make,
All of your dreams come true,
Have a very Merry Christmas,
From Us to You x

My dead sea salt has just arrived :happydance:

Thanks for that poem, it's lovely! x

These are my bath salts I made. I used a 3kg of epsons salts, made 6 jars (large jars) and 10ml of orange essence for 4jars and a 10ml essence of lavendar for 2more jars with plenty to spare. This is the pic of mine:

You know, I haven't been in here for a few days and feel so deprived lol! I have putting making bits on hold for a bit as Im right at the end of my pregnancy and now struggling. But I can't wait to get started again and get some more bits done. I might wrap a few more of my hampers this evening so they are done and do the last 2jars of epsons, plus I could put all the gift tags on my snowman soups, i got quite small tags so need to write small lol and also they are from my son and expectant baby but he doesnt have name so I think ill have to put that idea on hold for now. Need a name lol

I have bought chocolate moulds from Lidl (£2.99 each) and will be melting down bars of their 39p chocolate. I have bought 20 christmas design cellophane bags on eBaby for £1.90 (£3 including p&p) and will be putting a selction in each to give to relatives, friends, teachers etc. I had a trial run today and they are delicious

diy chocolate i have heard is harder than just melting it down etc i wanted to do this last year and my mil who does those sorts of things and teaches it for a living said it can be difficult has anyone on here every tried it?
