Can you use any sort if chocolate for the truffles?? Would using 2 different sorts (say dark for inside then milk for outside layer) work do u know?? Anyone tried that? So gonna make these for gifts.. Thanks for sharing the recipe! x

i've finished the apron i started last week for my mum and have since made two personlised stockings for my nieces and a gymnastics dance ribbon type thingy for my youngest niece. I've taken pictures but can't find the stupid lead for the camera so will have to upload them once I've found it. Next is some pocket tissue covers for my husband's aunty's.

I'm really loving being able to make things for people i just hope that they appreciate it as well lol

Ginger bread tree biscuits, chocolate fudge pieces and panforte (contains a mixture of nuts and chocolate etc, bit like a flap jack, looks yummy!!!)

Leahsmummy I was going to try this next time. When I made them before I used milk chocolate but grated a bit of dark chocolate on top and that was delicious. I was thinking next time if used milk chocolate on the inside it would be more creamy with the rich dark chocolate on the outside. I can't see why it wouldn't work

Hey ladies, I feel like I have deprived myself of Santa's grotto but been busy having a baby last fri at home but im now back on it and been sewing some bits this evening for Christmas, I have been making homemade xmas hanging tree decs, ill post pics when i can be bothered to photograph them. I have also made some lovely stuff for a craft fair i was meant to be doing last fri but went into labour instead so need to find a xmas craft fair asap. I have about 25 handmade cushions and god knows what else lol, hows everyone been and what have i missed?

how do you guys make your salt dough decorations ?
i have the recipe for the dough but not how to do it or anything else? i just winged it with my LO and i thought they turned out good, so we painted them but theyve gone all soft now :S
