duchess of cambridge is pregnant [merged]

Such a tragic thing to happen  that radio station should face charges

As someone said a good Nurse is worth a million crappy Djs

Everyone is taking to the radio's page. Theres so many angry comments. These two will have lost their jobs without a doubt now.

Prank Confession 2dayfm

They seem to have removed the prank! good. As if they didnt do enough damage leaving it there would have been laughing at her more.

My god I can't believe a nurse has killed themselves over this!

Gosh --- so sad. I do wonder if there is more to it though --- I mean, it is awful. She must have felt terrible. But enough to kill herslf? Leaving behing a husband and two children?

No doubt there was other stuff going on in her life (as in already depressed to some degree) but tbh she was most likely going to lose her job (and therefore probably never work in nursing again which is a vocation), she lived in one of the most expensive parts of the country so may well of lost her home, her children's stablity, she would of felt the world was laughing at her for 'falling' for this. All of that would of pushed me over the edge too.

On fb the radio station says;

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) and 2Day FM are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the death of nurse Jacintha Saldanha from King Edward VII’s Hospital and we extend our deepest sympathies to her family and all that have been affected by this situation around the world.

Chief Executive Officer Rhys Holleran has spoken with the presenters, they are both deeply shocked and at this time we have agreed that they not comment about the circumstances. SCA and the hosts have decided that they will not return to their radio show until further notice out of respect for what can only be described as a tragedy.

It's truly awful I think she prob just felt racked with guilt. I'm sure she wouldn't have list her job the hospital have said they wasn't going to disapline her. She lived in London her family live in Bristol according to the papers. What ever happen its awful snd such a sad loss of a life over to stupid people I also think the press are to blame if you a sensitive person being laughed at in the press is awful. X

Sounds like they only got suspended for a while for it.

I'm really excited by this, I love Will and Kate! Will and Harry have made me really warm towards the Royal Family in the last few years I think they have great attitudes.

Wishing her a happy pregnancy and hope the press gives them a bit of peace to enjoy it!

Sorry I didn't read the last few pages before posting. Awful news about the nurse I feel so sorry for her family.

I give it an hour.

Thats a bit judgemental. Why one hour? They've been honest about a part time Nanny but why wouldnt they want to do this them selves?

Do you have a problem with the Royals?

And even if they do get help, so what, having a baby is hard?

I really like William and Kate. Especially Kate - I think she is definitely a down to earth girl, who rewears clothes like everyone else and seems really friendly and caring.

Agreed. Not really a royal fan or anything but think they're helping to change the face of the royal family.

I wasn't a Royal fan until them two :cloud9: They look lovely together x
