Such a tragic thing to happen that radio station should face charges
Everyone is taking to the radio's page. Theres so many angry comments. These two will have lost their jobs without a doubt now.
Prank Confession 2dayfm
Gosh --- so sad. I do wonder if there is more to it though --- I mean, it is awful. She must have felt terrible. But enough to kill herslf? Leaving behing a husband and two children?

No doubt there was other stuff going on in her life (as in already depressed to some degree) but tbh she was most likely going to lose her job (and therefore probably never work in nursing again which is a vocation), she lived in one of the most expensive parts of the country so may well of lost her home, her children's stablity, she would of felt the world was laughing at her for 'falling' for this. All of that would of pushed me over the edge too.
On fb the radio station says;
Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) and 2Day FM are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the death of nurse Jacintha Saldanha from King Edward VIIs Hospital and we extend our deepest sympathies to her family and all that have been affected by this situation around the world.
Chief Executive Officer Rhys Holleran has spoken with the presenters, they are both deeply shocked and at this time we have agreed that they not comment about the circumstances. SCA and the hosts have decided that they will not return to their radio show until further notice out of respect for what can only be described as a tragedy.
