I love the fact the Daily Fail has said having HG increases your chances of having twins
There are so many things wrong with that statement I dont know where to start

I just had a right rant at a lad on my facebook! He basically only ever writes status's to get as many likes as possible (pathetic right?) And decided to start slagging Kate off and then continued on to make it about 'all women' how she's only in hospital over a little sickness because she's a princess and needs some publicity, then onto how all women just over dramatise pregnancy and labour and need to 'man the fuck up' which made me so effing angry!! My reply:

I was told at 8 weeks pregnant I would miscarry because I had severe hyperemesis, and was then constantly told I'd never make it to 12, 16, 20, 24, 27 weeks and I did. After that they were on standby for an extremely prem baby and I shocked them all and made it to term..but only because I was hospitalised every other week to have fluids as my kidneys were on the brink of failing, I had keytosis, and I was getting zero nutrients. Even a sip of water came back up. I was 9stone at 39+8 and as soon as he was born they had to weigh me because of my BMI I was 6stone8. We also both nearly died while I was in labour. Still want to tell me that its 'a little morning sickness' and I needed to 'man up'? I hope she has it nowhere near as bad as me and writing pathetic crap for likes..How mature are you?!

Normally I wouldn't have bit but argh he made me so angry..Especially when the douche bags own sister was really ill with sickness! Not quite that ill but still had to be signed off work for the first 20 weeks x

He sounds like a lovely person to have as a facebook friend - not x

He's a bit of an ass lol. Usually its just crap he puts for a bit of attention and to get girls commenting to argue as its the only female attention he gets I think but that time he took it too far. I started getting likes on my comment and he knew he just couldn't win an argument about that and just deleted his entire status - Fool x

I know a lot of people who had to be hospitalized because of severe all day sickness, I was a victim of it myself and can tell you it´s not much fun and life threatening. I feel for her.

I think it's lovely news. I was born at the same time as Kate and William, got married the same year as them and now baby is due the same year!
There is always so much bad news and this is lovely news just like there wedding was x

I've just had the same fight with someone on Facebook, only she's a she! I was so surprised at her, going on about how Kate think she's special and has to be hospitalised for throwing up. Safe to say I wasn't very nice.

As if Kate and Will are in control over what goes in the media anyway!! personally we hear the same old rubbish every day, David Cameron, Benefit cuts, Syria etc etc that its nice to have some good news (well the baby not the sickness). I really dont understand why people are moaning? yes, its in the news alot, but so is Syria. Just dont watch it!

And I guess the Royals are important as they will be our king and queen

But I don't feel any differently because they are royal. I don't feel any more or less excited than if it were say a work colleague or a neighbour who were pregnant. So yeah, it is exciting. But no more so than another pregnancy.

As I say I hope she has a healthy 9 months ahead if her and wish her a speedy recovery from what she is suffering with just now.

I am happy for every couple that gets pregnant, I dont know people in this forum face to face yet people here have been happy for me? is that not ok for someone to be happy for a happy occasion in someone elses life? you know you where happy when you had your first. So you can imagine someone else having that happiness. Unless you are bitter of course and find it hard just to be happy for any one else. And if any ones sick of it then why are they in threads about her talking about her?

I can tell you now it isn't morning sickness, it is a shame hardly anyone knows about
Hyperemesis Gravidarum, I am Glad it is in the media so hopefully it will make people more aware of the deadly illness, I had HG from 5 weeks till 20 weeks of this pregnancy, it is not morning sickness it is severe vomiting all day every day you can't keep down water, it is a nightmare! I was in hospital on IVs because
HG can kill you and hurt your baby. It causes severe malnutrition and takes all your electrolytes and makes you loose a ton of weight, i vomited about 10 times a day and that was mild HG and I was on Zofran which is medication for cancer patients to stop the urge to vomit, I couldn't get up without throwing up, I was so sick I was in bed for 3 months, I lost weight and was very ill, some women get it so bad all through that they have to terminate the pregnancy or they starve to death. It can kill you. It is very rare only 2% of pregnancies get it, no one knows the cause, but I do know that it's heartbreaking when people compare it to morning sickness because no one understands how serious it is. I feel very sorry for her and wouldn't want anyone to go through this. It actually makes me want to cry sometimes because a lot of doctors don't really know much about it, and there is the HER foundation which is trying to research a cure as so far there is no cure, it is so sad.
