FEB IUI Group - Looking for buddies for this cycle

So today I went to do beta and we were talking about doing injections next cycle but the nurse is like why don't you try Ivf since it is covered by government for one cycle in Ontario Canada they just started to fund this. Than I was really thinking about it watching videos. Than they called me and said I had a positive on my beta but it is really low. I'm happy because I never got a positive but so scared that it won't stick. I'm doing a test on sat to see if hormones doubled.

That's so awesome ttc! A positive beta is where it all starts! Can't get anywhere without being there first! So excited for you and praying it all works out!!!

As for IVF coverage by clinic has a lottery to be covered so it isn't even guaranteed that we would get it if we did that this cycle.

So I don't know if it is because of the Gonal F shot or I am just feeling kinda crazy this cycle but I had the worst sleep last night! Woke up at 4:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. Totally sucked. Gave up at 6:30 and decided just to get up and make breakfast!

how are you guys sleeping?
I am going to try yoga and see what happens, might relax me a bit hopefully

I have been sleeping better the last few nights. I start my follistim tonight. I have been really down the last few days, but I'm feeling better today.

Still same old same old. I will say that I'm pretty sure the follistim makes me a little sick. I have felt fine all day then took my shot and I feel sick to my stomach. Same thing last night too.

I started progesterone Saturday so I've been sleeping like a champ with crazy vivid dreams. Though I did have one Friday night before even starting the progesterone....

Ultrasound today. I had two mature eggs (one on each side). I didn't get the numbers but they were high twenties (so def mature). I had estradiol and LSH drawn. After the doc see my ultrasound and gets labs they will call me back with instructions. I know it is going to be trigger tonight and IUI Thursday, but I don't have the specific times yet.

Got my period yesterday which is soooo heavy. Tomorrow I'm going for ultrasound to check if everything is good to go ahead with the next cycle. This cycle I want to try day 3 to 7 instead of 5 to 9 Letrozole.

Sorry AF is so brutal right now it always makes it worse when you have to deal with it emotionally AND physically. I hope she is gone soon. Good idea on the Letrozole, I did it 5-9 the first time, but it was the most stressful time in my life, found out about DHs translocation, and so I didn't end up ovulating until CD39! I did get pg, but not for long. Since then I have been doing Letrozole 2-6, and I ovulate much sooner than that. Lol.

My doc also does the days 3-7 letrozole.

Office called and we are actually doing the IUI tomorrow morning. I was wondering when I saw the size of those eggs! They told us to BD Monday night so I hope 36 hours is long enough for hubby to "reload".

This is our first IUI.

36 hours is plenty! That's what DH got and they said his sample looked great. So exciting! Good luck tomorrow, let us know how it goes!

Sorry about af arriving in all her glory. I found with the extra drugs in my system them IUI ads were really long and horrible. Hope you can move on fast to the next round. Are you planning another one?

Got back from the clinic and only one of my follicles seems to be growing since Saturday
I have a 12, 12 & 17 which sucks. I really wanted two at least this cycle. I pulled my neck and was on some pain pills the other day, wondering if that could stall growth?
Trying the hot water bottle technique and hoping this extra heat and blood flow will help the last two bump up.

Myshelsong I really hope they catch up. I did that too, except I used a heating a instead of a water bottle. I don't know if it worked or not because I never got another scan, but I just have a good feeling that it did. I really hope it works for you! I also read to drink lots of water and eating lots of eggs and cheese and other dairy could help.

IUI was a breeze. Hubby had 12 million sperm post wash. I go in for beta March 1. Start progesterone on Sunday. I'm looking forward to the TWW this cycle because my endo has really flared up and I'm looking forward being pain free. So I'm going to really try to embrace it instead of being so impatient.

Thanks guys! Today's scan was 12, 15 and 19 so some movement!!!
I think the heat does work and made sure I am upping my dairy for sure. Thanks for the follicle cheering crowd. Feeling better today. Hoping for a Friday Saturday IUI!

@rq120 how long after iui should you be starting progesterone my re always tell me to take it the next day and I'm wondering if I should take it later.

Today I went for ultrasound for cd 3 and everything looks good so I started Letrozole today and go back Sunday.
