Hellooooo, I'm so tired all the time I am having naps with Lennie in the afternoon. I wake up moody though because I'm not very good at napping.....tend to go too long.
Chilly I'm overweight too. The only thing we done different this time was BD at least every day around my "fertile" days and a couple of days after. I know it says you should every couple to get better sperm or something but we done that last time and it took so much longer.
Wine I am so glad you have came back on cause you were just the person I wanted to ask about the waterbirth being a VBAC trainee midwife!! I'm so pleased. I did find somewhere that they use special monitors. At the hospital they have a birthing centre at the hospital so I am hoping if they have gone to that much effort for that hopefully they will have that special equipment.....if not I am going to say about them loaning it. With Lennie I didnt have continious monitoring so I am hoping that works in my favour too. I am going to say that this is my birth and this is how I want it cause its my choice right?
When you say about Joshua not talking because Jakob does it for him I think that is really quite common. I know we used to do it for my younger brother and I know other younger siblings who don't due to their older siblings.
We had a horrendous night last night
I called 111 because Lennie had a high temperature and we were worried he had a chest infection. His hands and feet were blue and his body was burning up whilst they were really cold. 111 booked us in to go to out of hours so off we went.
Once we were there they said he had a middle ear infection and we just had to wait for it to pass but keep his temperture controlled. The last recording at OOH was 39.5. They were concerned about his hand and feet. So far we have been fobbed off. Now he is crying when we touch them so he is in pain. They said we need to make an appointment with GP to get him referred to see a cardiologist. She said it may be Raynards but at least we will know what it was cause there has to be a reason.
We had already given him paracetamol but on the way home went to get him iburofin (can't spell it). About 10 minutes later I turned to check on him and he was all stiff and fists clenched and frothing at mouth. I just screamed at Jay to pullover. I called an ambulance and despite knowing exactly what to do when someone fits cause I read it all the time at work at that point I didnt have a clue!
The fit didnt last long prob a little bit longer than a minute. After that he just appeared to be sleeping and breathing rapidly and loudly. We couldnt wake up at all. It was just horrible. Sometimes his breathing changed and in my head I was just thinking please don't stop breathing.
Eventually the ambulance arrived and Lennie woke up when we were inside. He got taken to the hosp and was dazed but smiling at the paramedic all the time. I know exactly why he fitted because of his temperature and I know how commen they are.
We got there about 11pm and were discharged at 1am once his temperature was down. Poor Evie was with us too and knackered! We all went to bed at 2am and Lennie woke up at 8am! So its not surprising today that he has had 3 naps equalling about 6 hours! But he is much better with no temperature thankfully.
Tomorrow Jay is going to the doctors about his feet & hands and is determined not to get fobbed off.
Evie slept in Lens bed and I slept in Eve's double bed with Lennie so I could be near him. His room is so tiny I wouldnt be able to lay out straight on his floor! So last night I had about 6 hours sleep of waking up constantly to check Lennie and now I can't wait to go to bed! xx
