first cycle actively trying (June 2015)

Rewiring anything is a huge job!! I'm glad that's keeping you busy but I know the struggle there- we had to get some rewiring done to our house right before we moved in. It's a bit older though, built in th late 70s. I'm doing good, staying sooo busy with work that by the time I get home at night I just want to sleep! Lol. But the last couple nights I've been waking up at 4 or 5 am. Weird.

I'm definitely ready for the first appointment in October. I think it will seem much more real at that point! Oh, and does anyone know if you should give up coffee entirely? I keep reading conflicting opinions, but I've sworn off it for now to be on the safe side.

I have heard 200 mg of caffeine a day is safe. So basically 2 cups. I drink monster energy so I will be cutting out caffeine all together. I do for the tww and then start up again when AF shows lol. Technically monster only has 160 mg caffeine per can but I am not chancing it with all the other crap they throw in there.

I can't wait to hear about your first appointment!

Our house was built in 1966 but the people that lived here before us were a "remodeling" company. They evidentally liked to cut corners, probably why they didn't have the money to pay their mortgage and forclosed :haha: we found wired melted together covered in electrical tape up in the attic. I'm sure that is safe with all the insulation up there. -_- it's good to stay busy! Is the hubby still pitching in with the housework?

Hello ladies!

I had to take a break from the forums. I was discouraged and also we were busy with work so little bd'ing last month.

Now I just got a positive OPK smiley after two days of smiling once, but I am on day 6cd so I am not sure what to believe. But it moved me to tears because it's been the first CLEAR + I've had. We had already bd'd once so did it a second time in the afternoon.

gina236 I am so happy to see you are still on here, but sad to see you did not get your BFP yet! Maybe we're still going to be cycle buddies though!

Been thinking of you ladies, and big fat BFP's to those who wants it!

Hey Fertile Flower!

Hoping you get your BFP soon!

Hi there :) I've been reading your thread for two days now (lots and lots to read xD) and wish to join. It seems like you guys are very active still and super nice :flower: so I wish to join. Me and my boyfriend have been kind of trying for the last two months but nothing yet. He also lives in another country which makes it hard but I am moving in with him this month so the stress of moving is pretty real and I think that's why nothing has worked out yet and maybe the lack of being able to have sex at the right time. But this time I will be starting with temp and we will be able to BD all the time :happydance: so I'm on CD2 and hoping maybe this month is the month.
Also hope you guys get your :bfp: this month! Lots of baby dust your way <3 :dust:

Fertile flower! Missed my cycle buddy. I am on CD 3 so we are close! CD 6 is early to have a + opk but bd just in case! Hoping you get your BFP this month!!

Welcome velathria! That's a big move! A different country! I would be a nervous reck. :haha: stress can have a big factor in it. This will be our 6th month trying. Really hoping it sticks this time. Once you live together it's :sex: time!! That will definitely make it easier. Good luck and baby dust to you!! We are always here for support whether it's baby related or just a bad or good day you want to share! :)

Thank you Gina :) I hope you get your :bfp: soon too... you are way overdue... just read about this tea that is supposed to help with fertility called Damiana leaf tea so I'll be drinking that from now on :)
Yeah the move is super stressful and I am really nervous moving somewhere totally different but I'll be with my boyfriend finally and that will make it all better. How is your morning going?

Thank you :) My morning is going okay. I may be getting sick. Trying to say it's just allergies but I think it's more than that. Perfect timing with my tough mudder this weekend -_- what country are you moving to and coming from? Just keep thinking of your boyfriend whenever you get stressed about it. It will all be worth it when you two are together. I've done long distance before and it is not easy! I couldn't imagine ttc while being apart!

Awww that's not good... hope you feel better soon.

Yeah that's why we haven't really tried yet. But as soon as I move in then it's full on ttc. I've been trying to make sure I get my cycle understood and checked out and now we can start in full swing.
I'm from Germany but also American. .. used to live in El paso texas. Lol now I'm moving to ireland. So different xD

Wow that is going to be a change. But so exciting. I have always dreamed of living in either Alaska or italy. I love the community feel of Alaska and I have always had a thing for italy. My maiden name was Italian so I think that's where my love of the language and customs came from. One day I will make it there at least to visit. Only times I have been out of the US were to spend a day in Canada every summer growing up and to the carribbean for my honeymoon. I'm sure you will love ireland. Especially because you will have your man there with you. Is he from Ireland?

Welcome back FertileFlower :) glad to hear from you and extra baby dust!!!

Welcome Velathria, yes this is definitely a good place to vent or get support :) Long distance definitely is hard work, the first couple years my husband and I dated was long distance. ..he was in Texas and I was in Missouri, and then he was deployed to Iraq for a year. It's stressful but definitely worth it in the end!

@Gina yeah i am pretty excited seeing something else... especially i have always been a person that likes to be in new places and i always knew i wouldnt be staying in the same area for the rest of my life :)

Yeah my boyfriend is Irish and i am totally loving the accent.. heheh its pretty sexy XD
Still the stress and leaving family behind is hard but its all worth it.. And we aren't too far away from the family.. :)

@Mini thanks :) i definitely feel support already being able to talk about stuff... DOn't have many friends anymore after i had my son. He is turning 4 now and all my friends dont have children yet. So we had nothing in common anymore so they left. But its all good :) i have my little handsome guy :)

Btw are you guys watching a bunch of pregnancy movies too like me XD i can't get enough of them. And the tears when the baby is born XD my bf keeps making fun of me :D

Ooo ya Irish accents. Hmmm :)

I don't purposely watch pregnancy movies but it seems they come on more than usual. Lol. It seems since I started ttc all of a sudden there are babies everywhere! Which is nice but at the same time disappointing because I want one so bad!

My bf keeps telling me that i'm not making it easier on myself...

but i can't help it.. The movies sort of help and make it worse at the same time.. I don't know how to explain it.

Yeah i keep seeing pregnant women everywhere... Especially at my sons nursery...

I am so jealous and i know i'm not supposed to but i just can't help hating them for it...

At CD are you Gina? I am at CD2 and already the bleeding is only spotting.. I have had the weirdest AF this time...

Like its barely there... Guess thats my body still adjusting getting of the IUD... DIdnt know a nonhormonal iud can do that... Thought thats only the hormonal ones.

I am CD 3. Same situation. Barely bleeding. Could get away with just a liner but I hate feeling it. Lol. I tend to have very short bleeding. That was why last cycle I was sure it was a chemical even though I only had slight positives. I bled for 8 days last month. Longest ever for me other than my Mc when I was 19. I haven't taken any birth control since I was 17 (24 now) so not sure about that. I have heard the hormonal ones can mess everything up but haven't heard anything about non hormonal.

yeah i know that feeling.. its kinda like that now.. i only use a panyliner... its not enough for a tampon or a pad.
I usually have pretty strong AF but this time its different and i thought i was pregnant too this month cause i was tired and nauseous and my breasts had strong veins on it and they were so thick and my lower abdomen was tight and had gotten really big. i wanted to wait till my AF before testing and i was so disappointed when they came and from one moment to the next.. my stomach went from tight and looking like 4 months pregnant to super thing and i lost like 3 pounds in one day... it was so weird.

Yeah i dont know anything about non hormonal either so i am new to that. keep thinking maybe i am still pregnant cause the veins are still present and i am feeling so extremely tired.. more then usual and i still pee like never before but i dont know.. dont want to take a test and get another bfn....

It is possible. You could have just had a breakthrough bleed. Usually when it is af symptoms they go away as soon as she shows. I would test just to be sure. I know bfn sucks but it would be better to know rather than wondering. And who knows, maybe it will be a bfp!!

Maybe I should take a test. Just to make sure.. will probably be a bfn though. .. I just feel like all of them are always afn

I feel the same way. But just put your mind at ease. Or you will be wondering all month.
