First DR appt

Hi Everyone, I'm 4 weeks 4 days pregnant and today was my first DR appt.
She did a urine test and asked me a bunch of questions. I found out that my dr likes to order early ultrasounds, so I am getting one at 9 weeks woohoo!
normal wait here is 12-18 weeks so I am pretty pumped about that.
we are so excited, do you think we should tell all our friends now or wait for another 4 weeks when we can see the heart beat.... hmmm what to do?

Yay, congrats on the pregnancy and the early scan! When to tell is a really personal decision...we told our parents at 10 weeks as couldn't wait any longer, but we had an early scan too (8 weeks) and had seen the HB so felt confident. We aren't going to tell anyone else until afte our 13 week scan now, just becuase I don't want to tell everyone I know if the worst happens.

That was the plan anyway..but since I heard the HB again yesterday at 11 weeks with my doppler, I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to hold it in!!
